Using the engine, I saved an RGB profile on the keyboard, then uninstalled the engine on my laptop and could still select the preset. So it should then also work the same with a PS4.

As far as I know the share port works fine as a stand alone jack, you just can't use the mic if you have the main cable plugged into the share port instead of USB to 3.5mm
