one could assume that if you name something Aerox "3" you are leaving room for other versions/numbers

there may very well be an aerox 5 coming out

It does work, just plug it in via USB. Though the chatmix functions won't work because the PS5 has it already you can still tinker with EQ settings m. I know because I use it myself. :)

I'm not sure what the comparison is like compared to the regular pro headset but the DAC does use hi Res audio on pc as well, so you can use that function. As for ps5, the ability to tweak your equaliser settings is such a boon, it means you can tweak the audio to your tastes. It's worth it imo

I tweaked my audio via the steelseries engine on my Mac and the settings save to the headset themselves so it carries over to PS5

I dont know, that might be one to ask the company themselves. I'm sure there's a way you can import/export the settings.

One last question @thin stirrup ..... you seem to know a lot about using these on the PS5... Are you able to change the chat mix on the PS5? For me, it's greyed out. Do I have to be in an actual chat party for the option to appear? For example, would it appear if I were just in an online game lobby like in Call of Duty or something?

That kinda sucks because lots of games have lobby chats that are unrelated to parties. When I had my pulse 3D headset, I was able to adjust the game/chat mix any time. It must be a software bug. Hopefully they'll enable it full time at some point
