I have a mac mini Pro, and a 55" Odyssey Ark G9.

My Apex Pro is connected to the OneConnect.

I installed the SteelSeries GG (engine) but can't do anything with it.

My keyboard is not seen.

I uninstalled and reinstalled the GG engine SW not no avail.

I restarted my Mac Mini also to no avail.

Any hints ?

The reason why I installed the software is that after selecting Factory Reset to fix an issue I lost the full color illumination that do not breathe.

Can restore them back with the software or should I abandon all hope ?

Hi. My mouse aerox 9 has started showing a red light all the time.
Before, it only turned red when the battery was low (around 10% or close to empty).
Now the red light is always on, even when the battery is charged.
This red light cannot be turned off in the software - all lighting options are disabled there, but the red LED on the back of the mouse stays on constantly.

Today I got my brand new Base station.

Int = USB interface number.
The Nova dongle exposes multiple interfaces (audio, mic, etc.). Interface 3 is the control/data channel SteelSeries uses for settings and battery. Ask the others and they ignore you.

UsagePg = HID usage page (what kind of data it is).
0xFFC0 is vendor-defined, meaning "private SteelSeries data" (battery, config), not audio or input.

At least that is the case on Nova 3X dongle.

Oh, I wrote my own in Rust. Plan was to play a loud voice when it reaches 15% of charge (recorded me screaming "PLUG ME IN!!!!"), so I won't miss the low battery during teamfights. While I don't reverse engineer much, it was quite fun to do.

That's hilarious. Reminds me of some small MacBook apps, there's one that makes sound when you adjust the angle of the screen since there's a sensor for it. And you can weigh things on the track pad 😅

Tell them to stop looking for "SteelSeries Alias Pro bands" and start looking for Shock Mount Replacement O-Rings.

The Fix for the Alias Pro
The Alias Pro uses a standard suspension system. Since the official ones aren't available, here is what they need:

EPDM Rubber O-Rings: These are far more durable than standard office rubber bands. They resist UV and heat, so they won't dry out and snap in six months.

The Size: Based on the Alias Pro cradle dimensions, they should look for O-rings with an Inside Diameter (ID) of roughly 25mm to 30mm and a Thickness (CS) of 2mm to 3mm.

Universal Shock Mount Bands: They can literally buy a 10-pack of "Universal Microphone Shock Mount Elastic Bands" on Amazon for about £8. Even if they aren't a "perfect" 1:1 match, the elasticity allows them to fit most cradles of that size.

Quick Hack
If they are desperate and don't want to wait for shipping, heavy-duty hair elastics (the thick, fabric-covered ones without metal joins) actually work remarkably well in a pinch because they provide decent vibration dampening without being too stiff.

I'm extremely used to it , I can't get my self to use any other mouse that doesnt have it. I'm using a G502x for gaming and a MX Master3s for office. It's absolutely the best to use when having to scroll a lot. I find my self unlocking it nowadays even when I just scroll up and down a lot. I only lock it when I eider need very precise movement , or I don't want the scroll wheel to move when released.

I own a bunch of other mice that are just sitting in a box , I aint touching 😄

Since day 1, the audio is echoing back to me but I made sure to turn the sidebar off on both the app, headset, and gg software. I also updated firmware but I still hear myself every time I talk.

Also, coming from an Astro a50, my friends are saying they can’t hear me well now. Is there a specific mic setting that you think sounds best? Mostly playing arc raiders now

anyone having issues with Starting desktop Capture?. like used Steelseries GG for 3 years now. now if i press start Desktop capture it launches up as normals and notify me its captuering then 1 secound later it comes: desktop capture is turn off.
