Hi, i have a problem with my keyboad. I have a Apex Pro TKL and lights arent on. I have tried fixing it for over an hour now. tried deleting the app, did the i+o+ steelseries icon and damn near everything. I only get couple of keys that light red once i hold down the steelseries icon. It just randomly turned off. My oled is working and same thing with the keyboard, but the lights arent. Does any one know why?

I know it's bloody unlikely, but I recently switched to Linux (Games run fine, btw) So I'll be switching away from SS at some point. Would be nice to see some Linux support for KB/Mice/headset from major players like Steel Series.

I'd say games running fine depends vastly on which games you play :D
There's some usermade tools that can help you but nothing official.

Oh for sure, and I appreciate the low market share thing. Probably not economically viable until Linux becomes more widely spread. I use OpenRGB to manage the lighting, and that seems to work fine and the kit itself works beautifully . Aerox 9, Arctis Nova pro and Apex pro.

You'd be surprised how many have set Sonar to output to their monitor to then be surprised they don't have any sound in their headset

Or change their ChatMix to 100% chat and not understand why they can't hear their game

But it's computer software so bugs are unavoidable 😅

To get around, I have connected direct to output through cable........ Whats the point in paying £369.99 for a so called brilliant wireless headset. My sons Nova headset has out performed mine being 3 years old, sounds amazing and a 3rd of the price.

SteelSeries Moments doesn’t support true 4K clipping. It’s designed mainly for 1080p and 1440p recording to keep performance impact low. Even if a game runs in 4K, Moments internally downscales or caps the capture resolution because its recording and encoding system isn’t built for reliable native 4K output. Capturing 4K requires much higher bandwidth, storage speed, and more advanced encoding, which SteelSeries GG prioritizes stability and ease of use over. That’s why 4K clips aren’t possible, and why dedicated tools like OBS or NVIDIA ShadowPlay are needed for true 4K recording.

no, nova 7p has a sidetone dial on the headset itself. Left side volume and right side sidetone

When using the Nova 7, I used the wheel on the right to adjust the chat volume; I wish I could do that with the Nova 7p as well.

playstation doesnt allow this on the console so they swaped it to sidetone on the P version otherwise you would have a useless wheel. But yes I agree it would be nice. Getting the 7 or 7x version wouldnt work with chat mix on ps5 tho

Question: I have the gen 1 Arctis Nova 7. I just saw in the Steelseries GG app that there is a "gen 2" firmware update. What benefits will this give my headset, since it is definitely not a gen 2, aside from the mobile app support? Will it increase my battery life or anything useful?

Well I just finished the firmware update and the mobile app definitely works now with the headset. Still curious if I will have improved battery life though.

With this I can use EQ's in Linux now, which is awesome. That was the biggest downside to gaming in Linux was not having the abiity to do EQ presets through GG. Once FPS and other games make their anti cheat systems compatible with Linux I can ditch Windows for good. I only use Win to play games with anti cheat at this point.

The changes I make in the mobile app aren't reflected in the app on the PC. Is it really working?

Hello, I just bought the SteelSeries Arctis Nova 7 Gen 2 wireless headset and I have to admit that I’m lost when it comes to setting up the sound. I mainly play Valorant. I’ve already seen the videos that explain there’s a Valorant preset by FaZe, but I find the sound completely weird.

Honestly I don’t get why people hate on sonar so much, it’s free, and it’s one of the few “gamer” apps that legit lets you have full customization over your audio channels and set it up for streams and stuff, I love the chat/game mix and I haven’t seen any other headsets with something like that, except maybe the new astros

Heyyo guys, i purchased a (at least i think) brandnew keyboard on amazon, the apex pro gen 3 - i just witnessed today, that the wristrest has a wider gap on the top left side and a slightly smaller gap on the right side - did anyone else have that issue (or is is maybe normal? - its my first steelseries keyboard)

Normally when you turn on capslock and numlock the key turns white and when you turn it off it goes back to rgb, but sometimesit just stays on even if you turn it off or the other way around

The rubber on the wristrest is easily tearable

And for my headset you should check support

Hello everyone, i'm using Arctis Nova 7 Wireless. I got an issue after updated the headphone through SS GG -> Engine -> Arctis Nova 7. I got buzzing and all background sounds from mic to headphone and there is no Sidetone setting anymore.
