i'm surprised i totally missed it 😄 but it looks awesome..

i think nova 5 are good and in some thing even better than nova 7 (for example with better microphone), if you want use it for pc, i would consider also nova 5x (these are my), i don't have xbox but they have extra chat-mix on right ear if you wanted to using it (but normal nova 5 is totally fine too, just if they was same price it's something to consider) 😄

i can't tell about sorround sounds since i'm not using it, i was trying it in old arctis line and i didn't felt i would have better spatial orientation, i think it's more of game developer thing, for example in CS i feel once of best sorround feeling just with normal stereo sound. but about mic, i think that they are generally good, you can send sensitivity too, now it's having some ai stuffs to reducing annoying background noises, not sure if it's still having dual-microphone but i think that probably does. i think that people hear me clean i never had complain from opposite side. if it's perfect microphone? i can't tell i have no comparison, stand-alone microphone can maybe have better quality, but i didn't try. i like how i can just having it hided and pulling it out if i need it

i'm not sure if i understand your question, but are you having dongle connected with pc? if yes, i recommend to start steelseries gg and check engine section, there you can also see things as battery state or if firmware need update

the main issue I am having is audio setup, I usually use a seperate blue yeti microphone however not matter what I do I can't seem to get anything going on it

if i can be honest audio settings can be sometimes little confusing :c i don't know if you use windows or other os, but i would recommend check what default devices are set, and than check what are you using in other software (because things like discord) can pick totally different sound than you have default in os.. maybe turning of steelseries gg can be also helpful if you think that is setted up wrongly, or trying set up sonar by way as you want (but sonar i saw little confusing)

not really, one con of headset is, they are communicating wireless even when they are connected with cable directly

but i must say that latency is really awesome

Hi SteelSeries GG Team,

I wanted to share an idea that could greatly benefit users who have a dual-PC setup. In my case, I play games on one PC and capture and record on a separate PC using Google Chrome Remote Desktop. Because of this, the capture PC doesn’t directly know which game is being played.

I propose adding an AI feature that can visually detect game logos, splash screens, and unique elements on the screen. When the AI recognizes a game, it can automatically start clipping the gameplay. This means that even if the game is running on the main PC and the capture is happening remotely, GG will still know what game is on screen and start clipping automatically.

This would make SteelSeries GG even more versatile and user-friendly for anyone using a dual-PC recording setup.

Microsoft was aware of this vulnerability and started tightening rules long ago. It also notified respective vendors about an upcoming full blocking of this driver. Initially it was planned to happen in 2024, then Jan'25, and now it seems they finally did it.
There's no other way around other than rewriting the driver from scratch to be reliable, robust and secure. A lot of effort...```

Hello everyone, a few days ago I asked whether the Rival 310 was still available to buy new, as the mice apparently have a problem with double-clicking when right-clicking. Someone was kind enough to send me a private message with an eBay link, as the mouse is no longer in production. I've now solved the problem in a different way by soldering in new Omron D2FC-F-7N switches. It's a shame, though, that this mouse is no longer available new. I have relatively large hands, and finding a suitable mouse that is also ergonomic is really not easy for me.

Oh man, I was losing my mind. I picked up a pair of Nova Pro's a few days ago, and for the life of me, I couldn't get them to sound good. Everything was boomy and muddy, no matter how much I tweaked the EQ and tried literally dozens of ones people have made in the Sonar chat. Turns out the theatre enhancement was on in Windows lol, now they sound awesome.

One thing I have been frustrated for a long time is: no replacement earpads for Arctis Nova Pro Wireless and Elite, since not only leatherette being sole material option of earpads, but also different mechanism than all other Arctis Nova headsets. I mean lack of material options specific for Arctis Nova Pro Wireless and Elite, especially need something official, like AirWeave fabric.

The third material I would seek in feedback for future revisions of Arctis Nova Pro Wireless and Nova Elite is: Alcantara, a suede-like fabric with excellent properties like easy to clean and wash, and great noise isolation, while still being oily skin friendly

Maybe suede-like fabric would solve most of those problems, as long as woven properly in a right shape that rejects grease and oil as well as sweat wicking, and still blocking most of noise

Question for the group.

I have the Arctis Pro Wireless and am thinking of purchasing the Nova Pro Wireless. Currently, I do not use GG or Sonar - at all, neither are installed on my PC. Instead I have an EQ using Dolby Atmos. With my current Arctis Pros, I can still utilize the game to chat mix. I also have the sidetone volume all the way up, and I have yet to find another headset that is "newer" that can match this (not, I'm not talking about Windows "listen to this device") level of volume.

Sidetone is something I rely on heavily, and have read that it is worse on the Nova Pros compared to the older Arctis Pros. Not only that, but the firmware that "nerfed" the sidetone on the Nova Pros. I have been doing a ton of research and have tried other headsets that reviewers claim have "loud" and "clear" sidetone, but I still haven't found anything nearly as good as my Arctis Pros. I have tried the new Razer Blackshark V3 Pro and the Turtle Beach Stealth 700 Gen 3s - both of which were said to have really good sidetone.

I have a few questions for those of you with the Nova Pros who use them on PC:

• Is the sidetone volume really that low, or can you legitimately hear yourself if the game volume is loud?
• Does the game/ chatmix work without Sonar?
• If I install GG/ Engine, will it automatically force an update for the firmware (if in fact, a pair I buy has older firmware)?

I don't own any other pheripherals from SS, but I do love their headsets.
