It seems that it is not possible to import new sound presets into the Gamedac 2 for PS5 and Xbox series consoles using GG, which is in itself an aberration. We should be able to import new presets like BF6 and BO6/7 and other new features to the Gamedac2 via GG. It's been over a year since I asked Stellseries if they intended to update the Gamedac 2 with the new sound presets for new games like BF6, BO6/7 etc. I think they don't care about my request. I am really disappointed with my purchase as I thought the Gamedac 2 was a device that could be updated via the GG software.

I don't think there will be any updates to that unfortunately. My best guess why is hardware limitations limiting how many presets that can be on there, the difficulty of adding it and not wanting to remove existing ones.

Those kind of updates with new presets will most likely only be through the mobile app going forward

After starting my PC, there is no internet connection until I open SteelSeries GG manually and click "Retry" in the Sonar tab. Once I do that, the Wi-Fi starts working normally. This never happened before — it started after a recent update. Also, sometimes GG crashes on startup with the message “Oops! Something went wrong.”

I wanna say out of the blue a lil anecdote I have:

SteelSeries did a very good job at fixing the fragility issues on the Arctis headset.

The old Arctis Pro Wireless headset I had was super flimsy, and broke around where the cups were connected to the headband in like 6 months, and fully fell apart a year into my owning them. I'd seen that was a common-ish issue on the subreddit and all. Now it's coming up on 2 years of having my "new" Arctis Nova Pro Wireless headset and there's zero visible damage in those spots, and the whole headset has held up incredibly well comparatively. Hopefully they carry forward those changes whatever they are, to the newer designs. Coming from an ex-razer consumer, I'm glad that SteelSeries actually innovates and improves flawed designs. It depends, the most recent update is to address a Sonar specific issue so that's PC only but there's updates that adds more sound profiles to the mobile app, so those affect console users that have a headset with mobile app support

is there an easy way to copy or move a custom EQ Preset from "Game" to "Media" in Sonar, without having to manually adjust the settings?

gonna be honest, you guys dropped the ball on this one, clamp force is really uncomfortable, to the point of giving headaches, I know everyone's different but heck... Also apparently some units including mine has a wind noise with with ANC on, so sounds like a QC problem over there. Expected better from a 600 bucks headset. Clamp force, I get it, you cannot accomodate to everyone, but defective units suck.

I genuinely love everything else about the headset however the clamping force is so bad on my head that even induces nausea and headache

Couldn’t say, I just know that I’ve worn many many different SteelSeries headsets and it’s never been an issue for me

Ahh, fair. It’s a tricky thing to handle since there’s only so much testing you can do without enlisting thousands of testers. Also no idea if it’s a hardware or software issue
