Sometimes it freezes and won’t move when I’m trying to use it. I don’t know what the issue is or whether I need to buy a new one.

the Problem (especially with the Pro) is the Software, bc with a wireless headset you wanna walk around sometimes, so a quick mic change is really useful, but you need to use Streamer Mode with the Alias Pro and with that you cant change Microphones quickly

Don't get me wrong, I like my Steel series headset better but the price difference from 99 to 300 is huge let alone from my 300 to the 600. There will be little difference.

I never tried again updating the Firmware on my Nova, after the last time when it fried the USB port I was trying to do the update. I swear that port stopped working right when it did the update, never worked again, and the update didn't apply either although it said it was successful. I don't have spare USB ports, so I never tried again. Of course support said it's not due to the update, with a rather impolite subtone. Not sure if this ever left 1st level support. I know it sounds crazy, but man the coincidence and timing, as soon the update was 100%, the port never worked again.

I am not a fan of all the extra junk in SteelSeries GG. I pretty much need the engine and thats it. Sonar is cool but it can make audio quality worse. @vague mist i looked at it and 600 usd, i then selected uk region as it didnt put me in the uk automatically and its still £600 the reason i got told is its $150 usd in taxes for the uk for some reason its just way too much especially if they break as easy as the artis nova pro wirless (left ear cup hinge) on 4 different headsets.

Been rocking the Nova Pro's since launch and now I saw the reviews about the Nova Elites,idk if I should upgrade to them yet but I also need wicked cushions on them too

Unless you just really want to blow $600 then there really isn't any meaningful reason to get the Nova Elite imo. The perceived difference in sound quality between the 24 bit/48khz audio of the Pro and the 24 bit/96khz of the Elite is negligible at best. I've been running the Nova Pro Wireless since launch and I won't be upgrading until these finally give out completely. Which will hopefully be several more years from now lol

Alright Engine is officially cooked. None of my config changes are saving anymore for my Apex Pro and I've done it probably 20 times now. Anytime I reboot it's like my keyboard is factory reset back to Config # and the other profiles on my computer are gone. There's no way to export/import profiles, and cloud "backup" (which never worked right) has been disabled for 3½ years now. I'm going to have to start looking at other manufacturers if this is going to be the expectation...
