After open a game

I tried switching devices in the windows configuration and used the so intuitive sonar gg

with no luck

I am seriously considering doing a video throwing them on the street and film a car passing them over

But some guidance to troubleshoot will be great

I mean, I am more than willing than spend my time working for free for the manufacturer troubleshooting this kind of glitches

You might have been unlucky and gotten a bad unit. I've had the same headset since launch in May 2022 (at full price 2899 dkk or about $420) and I haven't had a single issue since knocks on wood

Routing in Sonar is basically just a better interface for Windows audio routing so if something isn't working then it's most likely a Windows problem

In order for apps to output to the other devices in Sonar, you'll need to route the apps to the specified device. Routing can be done in one of two ways:

1. Use the routing drag and drop interface underneath the audio outputs to simply move any apps playing sounds to the required output

2. Open the Windows sound device by going to Settings > Sound > App Volume and Device Preferences. From this settings menu you can use the dropdown to route any app.

3. If you are having issues with step 2 or step 3 above, you may need to check the app itself for any sound output settings. Some apps like Discord, Spotify, and Apple Music may need to have their outputs changed within their app settings rather than done through Sonar.

If you see the "Sonar did not allow this app to change outputs" error, then step 1 above did not work, and you may need to do step 2 or step 3 to route your audio.

   Make sure you're getting sound from the mic itself by connecting a headset directly

Normally, I can get it working again by changing which output is default, but this time, I can't get anything to work...
I have tried the classics:
Unplug and replug / on and off again
Reset settings to default and manually change everything to match (instead of relying on "use system default")
Manual check for updates (Got a cumulative windows update that's failed the last few days, so.... that could be my problem?)

Nope. Sonar at its core is mainly for gaming/chat sound. Media is an extra thing. But you can disable Media and Aux

You can also move the browser to the game channel and have it record it that way

I lost the magnet from my Apex Pro armrest because the magnet is just glued. Literally just glued. They could've easily secured it some other way than just glue but did not. Very poor quality I'd say. Also my QcK Prism Cloth XL died right after warranty. That is pretty sad for such an expensive brand I must say.

If they sell their stuff for so much money you would expect slightly higher quality.

when inserting i see the battery in the basstation popping up on the smal screen for a second and then its just gone.. blacked out and headphones loose connection

im not sure if the firmware update went without issues

since it's a physical piece moving and has been reset, I'd say it seems lower level like firmware or it could have gotten dirt inside making the connection sketchy

I have also seen a few DACs with bad updates get fixed by plugging them into another pc/laptop with gg to update

where like the version ID on a system was stuck, but when plugging the DAC into a new unit with no history of the hardware it worked fine and ran the update

but that's all dependent upon another s ystem being available to test with

Guys, first message here. Im very curious about why GG updates including new presets for engine are always for 5/5p/5x versions. I have Nova Pro wireless on my PS5, there is a reason (no more support for example) or any announcement about it? Thanks in advance

Nova Pro users only have EQ presets launched when presets were released (2 years ago?)

you can share presets and handle a lot more, the 5 series had a re-release and a lot of ties to the mobile app focused on a different group of users. My assumption is they need more presets as mobile app users with headsets tied to things other than a PC need options, where PC users with higher end devices can customize as they wish

but who knows, maybe they just sell tons of 5/5x devices or the dev focused on the 5 series is really hyper-active

hey i have a question why is it that steel series haven't made a thin version for there keyboards because if they did i feel it would be a good idea to push there name out more and plus if I'm being honest id probably consider buying it since I'm thinking of saving up for a high end PC set up and the only real keyboards I'm considering is the Alienware AW510K the Corsair K100 as well as maybe the razor black widow v4 pro but probably not since i like laptop style keyboards more and that's about it so yeah id love to know why they haven't tried so. c:

I just got the arctis nova 1 the Headphones is working perfectly fine but the MIC doesn't get detected on windows 11 pro i've already reinstalled the driver, checked for permissions, etc i don't see anyway how there could be an issue for the MIC not getting detected
