SteelSeries Sonar has “Device Fallback” that will automatically switch the outputs on Sonar.

Fallback can be triggered when a device is unavailable (such as when booting your PC or unplugging a device), or it can switch outputs if it detects if a Nova headset is turned off, and automatically switch to speakers.

This fallback functionality can be adjusted or turned off by going into the settings in GG. You can find it under Settings > Sonar > Backup Device Switch.

You can also adjust the order in which devices fall back to. This can be adjusted in the same options menu. Simply scroll down to see the full list of devices.

Rival 650 Wireless mouse is not connecting wirelessly.

I am using a Rival 650 wireless mouse. Today, I received a notification about a firmware update. Despite performing the update, I am unable to use the mouse wirelessly. When I connect the mouse with a cable, it works perfectly fine, but when I try to use it wirelessly, it says there is a 'Critical Firmware Update' and does not work, with red lights on (except for the mouse wheel). While connected with the WiFi receiver, I redo the update and receive a notification that it was updated successfully, but my mouse still does not work. Even after turning the mouse off and on, the same notification appears, and despite performing the update, the result does not change.

I am using the Windows 11 operating system. As a solution, I tried updating, but the result did not change. I uninstalled and reinstalled the GG application. Then, I connected my mouse with the WiFi receiver and tried updating again, but the situation remained the same. I also installed GG on another computer and tried updating the mouse there, but it didn't work either. The firmware version of my mouse is 1.26.0.0. I am not sure how to resolve this issue. Could you please help me?

Hello everyone. I bought the Steelseries Arctis Nova Pro Wireless.
First you have to get to grips with all the settings etc. I won't have discovered all the functions yet, but that will come.
I have discovered one thing that really bothers me.
Every time I start the PC, I have to reassign all the audio outputs in the app, namely to my headset.

Is there a setting that saves the setting so that I don't always have to reassign all outputs and inputs?

Just wanted to say this here cus there is no feedback channel.

My headset is worth around 400 dollars. I would suspect the bungie strap on my headset would hold longer than some few months. This bungie is now stretched and I feel the frame resting on my head. I adjusted it now but how long will that last before I feel the frame again?

The battery switching is a good idea. Overall a good headset but for 400 dollars i would expect be able to wear it comfortably more than a few months. My thought is that the headset is too heavy for the bungie to hold for long without stretching itself because of the weight.

I game almost always through a vpn, and whenever there is an update for the GG app, it will try to restart itself but won't login for some reason? when i tried to login using my credentials, it would give me a password/username were incorrect. So, I turn off my vpn and login, it works, why is this the case?! I've had this happen countless times and it's rather frustrating.

Hello, can someone please explain to me the point of the "Line Out" feature on the dock of the Arctis Nova Pro Wireless?

I have my external speakers hooked to the dock to the dock, for some reason the option "Speakers" doesn't put out any sound at all, "Stream" does play system sounds to my external speakers. but only when the Nova headset is ON. Am I doing something wrong?

At least your Sonar is coming on. Mine just flat out crashes on launch.

I used to be big into supporting Steel Series. Their old Engine program was just amazing to use back in the day, go back 5 years.

But right now? It's an absolute turd. I have had nothing but problems with GG for the past five years.

Enshittification is real.

I honestly don't know what changes were made to the general hierarchy of the company, but it's been nothing good.

Even tried downgrading versions. No dice.

It's like every time I WANT to give GG a chance, so I can finally use the fancy functions of my headset, it just flips me the bird.
