I replaced it already this is my 2nd one. It’s the weirdest thing. Once I use the other battery (the one that is charged) for like an hour and then push the other battery in. It won’t turn off and it will charge.

Hey, I changed my mousepad today however my mouse is "hitting the maximum speed" as I've read online. Which is when I move my mouse fastly, it doesnt register the moves. If you find the download url for the current version you can change the number to an older version and get the installer for that version which you can then install

There's a file somewhere that will let you trick it into thinking the version you have installed is a lot higher than it is

In order for apps to output to the other devices in Sonar, you'll need to route the apps to the specified device. Routing can be done in one of two ways:

1. Use the routing drag and drop interface underneath the audio outputs to simply move any apps playing sounds to the required output

2. Open the Windows sound device by going to Settings > Sound > App Volume and Device Preferences. From this settings menu you can use the dropdown to route any app.

If you are having issues with routing not working or apps moving back to another device after dragging them, you may need to check the app itself for any sound output settings. Some apps like Discord, Spotify, and Apple Music may need to have their outputs changed within their app settings rather than done through Sonar.

Trying to power on the headset, usually need to hold down the power button for 2 seconds and I hear 'Power on' but now nothing happens

When I hold down the power button, there is solid white and blue light next to the power/bluetooth buttons but they stop the second I let go of the button

Yes that is correct to make applications route to the Sonar Game channel by default. You can then drag and drop them to other channels if they don’t have audio settings.

Make sure you set the playback device in each channel as well if you don’t hear anything.

The Sonar settings only get applied while Sonar is running. If you want to have EQ settings applied while connected with other devices, try the Engine Device Configuration or use the wheel on your base station to change EQ settings.

have updated to Windows 11, Sonar was not loading, so I uninstalled GG and then reinstalled, Sonar is now loading but it does not allow me to Route Apps to the different mixers. It is all coming through the "GAME" mixer, so Spotify and a game are both playing in there, instead of Spotify playing in the Media Mixer....

I've also allowed Steel Series to auto-default the headset

OOOO i figured it out. You have to in the Windows Sound Settings, make each open application default to the specific virtual Sonar Headset default for it to work

Hello everyone - could you help me to understand why my Keyboard Volume Wheel or my Mouse Volume control does steer the GAME Channel Volume only and not the Master Volume? In my little bubble, this is just complete non-sense. I wanna have a mix of sound - this mix is leveled in by using the different channels and then 'Mastered' by the Master Channel. @stark harehere is one thing if your earcups wear out on the steelseries you can replace them with better logitech not so much as far as i know but that may have changed also the steelseries headsets don't break as easily and last longer i have had logitech headsets

as for quality the steelseries arctis nova pro' wireless headset can be wired so you get the best of both worlds

yeah, i dont think it'easy to tell the difference, if u play videogames too i would stay with that, if u want the wireless u can buy it, if in discount they go for 250 or something like that. If u just need them for music i would go with other brands like bose or Sennheiser

@naive pythoni only tested the mini mac for a short period i returned it after a week for full refund as i wanted to see if the vr worked with my valve index which it didn't so i am not familiar with the enhancement apps but going by the iphone it produces sound in the steelseries headset way better than on windows

so i don't see how steelseries could improve on that

hey guys, I've been having a recent issue with my sonar, it's routing my games to the media channel and I can't route it back into my game channel, also my headsets chatmix isn't having any effect, spinning the dial makes the software react in real time, but the audio volumes aren't changing.

I tried restarting the headset and the application but that didn't seem to do anything. Anyone know a fix for this?

I am still wondering about one thing in the mixer settings. When I choose "Game" there are presets for movie and music. But they doesn't belong there. The same presets are in the "Media" section. My question is now: Why doesn't Steelseries delete these two ones from the "Game" section and keep them on "Media" only where they belong?

I can't even use the headset. The software just loads infinitely. Their support boils down to "uninstall and reinstall steelseries GG" but how's that going to help me if this is a consistent problem that that won't even go up the chain of command to get fixed?

There's also several reddit/social media posts about people facing the same problem.
