Although Xbox versions have the most platform support, it seems that they are the ones receiving the least firmware updates. At least, that's how it was with my Arctis 7X+.

I don't think this update situation would apply to the Nova series because the brand acts based on feedback. Also, my current active use of the Arctis 7X+ is not very popular. Besides, you should also consider the Nova 4X if you don't need Bluetooth functionality and want to save a bit. The Nova 4X will serve you well without Bluetooth. The absence of Bluetooth doesn't put the Nova 4X at a disadvantage; on the contrary, it makes it lighter and more comfortable, allowing for a sleeker and thinner design.

So I just got my artics 7+ and I encounter a little problem

When I go on "chat" mode in Sonar I got no sound

works fine in "game" mode

I think somethings broken or we did something wrong because I don't get anything but the chat channel

I have changed around what is the default device, changed the channels around in mixer. I can see my game volume is working because I see the sound bar under game moving, but the audio does not come through the headset or the speakers.

I've tried it b4 on MWII & WZ2 but it's super bad. The rare occasions where the game actually produces footsteps, it came from everywhere. Up, down, left right, front & back. I don't advise no matter what headset u r using, tho feel free to experiment.

The GG app's Sonar has a preset for MWII & WZ2, tho I use GadgetryTech's vid for better optimizing it, but the game's audio is dog💩 on the 1st place so, it won't be a dramatic change no matter what. Hey! I have SS Pro wireless I just picked up and could use some help with the Sonar concept. My PC usage is 70% with my AVR and dolby atmos home theater setup. I use headphone just for gaming with friends. When I tried Sonar in the past I was worried with was going to hijack my audio and process it when I was not using head phones. Is that the case? How do I avoid that?
In Windows, as it stands, I just have my Denon to set to Dolby Atmos
I want to make sure that games, movies, music, etc, is not processed through Sonar unless I am using the SS Pro. I couldn't figure that out with all the tutorials I watched as everyone is just planning to use the headphones

Regarding how Sonar works .... It looks like the Sonar software only effects the Sonar audio devices in Windows. Is that correct? If so I think I am okay as my Denon Receiver windows audio device will be untouched
