Hey everybody, I have artic 7s, and today i uninstalled steelseries on accident due to a bug. When this happened, my headset stopped working due to all the function happening due to Sonar. When I reinstalled, I had a ton of problems with the audio and spacial sound. I dont know how to fix my spacial or my audio. Ive been trying to fix for two hours and no luck, Anybody have any adivce?

Had my headset (Artics pro wireless) about 2 years now, it's been great. It works perfectly fine on my PC with the transmitter box thingy, I just can't enable Bluetooth, not via the button on the headset or the steelseries engine app.

When I press the Bluetooth button the light next to it flashes blue but doesn't do the audio cue that it used to, to say I turned Bluetooth on and it won't connect to any of my devices (phone etc).

To clear up any confusion the Bluetooth has worked the 2 years I've had it, just suddenly it doesn't.

Anyone know how to fix this? Thanks

The engine claims I have the latest firmware (or rather, it doesn't show that there are any updates), tried reinstalling the engine and all the drivers as well as reset and re-pair the headset in the headset's transmitter's menu.

Still no luck though 😦

If anything I would believe that a firmware update caused this but I can't find a way to factory reset or downgrade the firmware. Doesn't seem to have a reset button like many other similar headsets in the series.

The wireless transmitter says its fully charged it shows \▮▮▮▮ in the screen, but when I use that battery it does not turn on, I have to plug a micro usb cable just to turn it on and it shows that the battery level is drained and it does not charge while on microusb cable its not showing the sign 🗲, both my batteries are acting like this. I already installed the latest firmware from the latest ssgg app.

Where's the audio preview / recording gone in Sonar? We used to be able to record a sample of our voice and play it back while using different configurations and tunings. Same idea with the "game" tab where a few people were playing a game saying things "he's on my side, west side" or whatever it was.

I've just had the absolute WORST customer service experiance from SS for the first time in my life. I've purchased a ton of their products and recommended them to everyone I know. I've had a ticket open since 07/19/2023 for my Arena 9 (a nearly $600 set of speakers) for popping and clicking in the rear speakers as well as sound cutting out and going to the center speaker only. After doing everything they requested and beginning the RMA process I get an email :

"We appreciate your prompt response and for providing us with the requested information. Regrettably, we must inform you that your RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) request has been declined. This is due to the fact that your request did not successfully pass our rigorous validation process."

I sent them everything they asked for and the unit was purchased on 04/30/2023 from Amazon. WTF SS you are about to lose a nearly 15 year customer!

so tell me why the clipping software is ass. Not even trying to bash it but it literally is. Every single clip I have saved either 1. The audio just randomly bounces in the vid at random points for no reason and the only way to fix it is to restart the software 2. whenever u export the clips it literally looks like its 2 fps for the whole vid 3. the software itself literally switches my settings every now and then making it to where it’s just no sound at all or it makes a high pitched squeaky noise that is unbearable to hear. I’m not sure if this shi is happening to me only, if anybody knows how to fix it lmk please

steelseries rep sent another email. but he couldn't find any info about the team pads being coated or not. he was just able to learn that they used heat-transfer method to print the pads but that was obvious.

but i really think that these pads are not coated. from my experience... doesnt get slower by using em like the limited. so i'm convinced that its practically the same production method with gsr-se etc.

and those pads are pretty popular in general.

I do use a Danish layout or Nordic layout since every company but Apple doesn't care about the Nordic countries

I've complained to SteelSeries multiple times about including the 2(!) extra keycaps required to make a Nordic layout that doesn't use keys with more than one letter.

Like there's two keys with 4 letters on them: Æ, Ø, Ö on one and Ø, Æ Ä on the other. It's so stupid

If you're disliking your 7X+ and feel like an upgrade then I do think you will experience an improvement. Nova is a newer product and has more batterylife and faster charging. But I would like to point out that I haven't tried them personally

I would suggest checking some reviews and making your decision based on that
