As far as I've heard, the Nova 1's and 3's are pretty spotless in terms of issues. The one's that have the rare issues are Nova 7's and the Nova Pro wireless where they can sometimes, very rarely, brick up. But I haven't heard it happening very often and it just requires a factory reset. I'm actually thinking of getting my friend a Nova 3 for christmas 👀 lol

Nova Pros aren't bad for mixing and mastering, but you typically want to master with monitors, not headphones

Either way, you'd wan't to tune the headset to be closer to harman curve. Don't boost bass or treble for example, otherwise you're mixing on a "colored" sound profile and what other people hear may not sound right

If you do go the Nova route, stick with wired, not wireless

Settings you save in GG directly to the headset carry over, until you plug it into a different PC with GG and overwrite it

the apex 9 stabs are pretty bad but since its hotswap you can spend 8usd on lube (krytox 205g0 5g reccomended) and lubing these will make your keyboard sound and feel much better (if you don't overlube), also if you have time and will (5hrs) you can lube the whole keyboard but as stated its very repetitive and boring task

but don't buy the lube yet, if you would like the stabs to be better then you can go and buy it

If you can’t connect via Bluetooth, try wired connection. If you don’t have a wired connection you basically have a paper weight.

I use my arctis 7+ on my PS5. I am constantly being told that my mic "spikes" or gets super loud if I laugh but people can't hear my voice when I am speaking regularly into the mic. My mic is also SUPER sensitive to background noise in my home. I played with sonar and engine a bit but couldn't figure out how to fix it. I've also been told that sonar settings won't transfer to the PS5, only PC, is that true? My game sounds great if I play on PC but not so great on my PS5.

In Sonar, make sure the mic input is set to your headsets mic. In discord set your mic input to sonar mic. If they still can't hear you or can, but not very well, increase the mic slider in discord. If still having trouble, increase mic slider in sonar. Also make sure that the sliders in your windows sounds settings are turned up as well.
