Settings should be headphone specific imo and not by game

Almost every headphone measures differently so you really can't boost are reduce frequencies the same way and expect the same result. If all headphones had the same EQ curve or measured flat, universal game presets would be fine

I recently bought the arctics nova pro wired Xbox/pc version. They sound great but I’ve been having problems with the software. When using the audio software it’ll work fine for a period of time and randomly turn off and on the program it’ll give me this message.
“ The core process SteelSeriesPrismSync.exe does not seem to be running. Please make sure you are launching the software using the shortcut in the start menu. If you have pinned the application to your taskbar or start menu, please check that you have pinned that shortcut rather than pinning a link to SteelSeriesGGClient.exe.

I’ve tried reinstalling the software, turning the computer on and off and it’ll still cause my audio to turn off with this message.

Does anyone know how to fix this I literally can’t figure this out

If I want to switch from external speakers to my headset, what's the proper way to do it? I turn on my headset, open GG, activate SONAR, plus any software I have open still plays through my speakers, even though I use the Windows Volume Mixer to set everything to SteelSeries Sonar as output. How to see the real battery percentage Nova Pro Wireless X??? I'm so confuse. GG software first showed 37% one and half bar on base station and then i tried to unplug and plug my wireless base station , it showed 25% and 1 bar in base station. After that, i tried to turn off 2.4 ghz and turn on Bluetooth only and connected it to my android phone. It showed headset battery percentage 46%

All vr games, even if they are detected. to clip them I would need to take of the headset then walk to my computer, then press the hot key

Even when I use the virtual keyboard provided by steam vr, that works for everything other than moments

I normally just walk over to my computer and press the clipping keybind. It’ll also maybe depend on if your monitoring your vr content to a window on your desktop. That comes at a cost of performance sometimes, but I normally keep it on if possible

Just a quick question, when using my steel series arctis pro wireless on obs, I keep getting a weird repeating echo. Does anyone stream using this headset? I tried switching between the "wireless chat" and wireless game" audio and tried using both in the settings, but I have gotten nothing to work so far.

Sounds like your primary sound output is being captured in OBS, and that your primary monitoring output is the same source. So it's playing itself over and over

You could try outputting the monitor from OBS to just SS chat. Then capture all primary game audio on the main game audio device

Then on your headset, set your chat mix to full chat so you only hear your OBS output and not Game + Chat

I appreciate the response. I will try this out when I get home later. It is weird that it picks up my voice chat twice while being on stream. The echo always happened when I had desktop audio turned on. If I muted the desktop audio, it would fix the issue, but I would have no game sound. What you said makes perfect sense. Thanks

The Nova Pro is a bit more neutral, but has significantly better detail retrieval
