anyone know why all of the sudden when i select "pro game" output on my computer its quiet? it used to be almost ear deffining loud and i could just turn it down with knob on my desk and it would be great, now is really quiet even with the volume all the way up. ping me if you have any ideas on how to fix it. Also i NEVER use sonar and it was working just fine without it, even with it on i still dont get that same ear defining volume, i remember it was so loud with the knob turned to the center i could use my headphones as speakers. Here's one for a pro troubleshooter. Unable to pair my arctis nova 7p to the dongle. Shows up in my devices as the arctis nova 7p when i plug the dongle in, and shows up the same in GG. When i try and pair the headset nothing happens. When i plug the headset in and try the manual pair on the orange cog, i get no option to manually pair like all the videos tell me. And I have tried it on seperate computers, installed fresh software on each and still nothing. Anybody got any ideas?

Using SteelSeries GG App on PC I have tried adding texts to clips but when I go to upload (I connected youtue to it) fails to upload, so I exported and it worked fine till the overlays I put (texts, other edits) in the clip they dont show up when exported. Yes, it's okay, I was able to fix it myself. It wasn't in the master settings anymore, but in game chat and microphone. I had to disable VoiceMeeter and use my Razer headset. Thanks anyway.

I’ve been having a big issue lately. I’m casually using my laptop with my headset, the Arctis Nova 5, and suddenly the 2.4 dongle crashes. In Device Manager, I get code 43, saying the dongle failed to start properly. I’ve tried just about everything; BIOS updates, re-pairing the headset, Bluetooth updates, repairs. You name it, I’ve already tried it, and nothing works. Can anyone POSSIBLY have a solution?

Hi. My mouse has started showing a red light all the time.(AEROX 9)
Before, it only turned red when the battery was low (around 10% or close to empty).
Now the red light is always on, even when the battery is charged.
This red light cannot be turned off in the software - all lighting options are disabled there, but the red LED on the back of the mouse stays on constantly.

I have already tried the following troubleshooting steps:

Fresh Windows installation

Testing the mouse on another computer

Reinstalling SteelSeries GG

Resetting the mouse settings

Fully disconnecting the mouse from the PC

Fully charging and fully discharging the battery

None of these steps resolved the issue. The red LED stays on constantly.

I've had them for about a month and a half, but after about a week my friends told me the mic quality dropped really bad so I turned it up on sonar but now I can hear my own breathing because I made the microphone volume higher, but if I turn it down they can't hear me (Can't turn the headphone volume down either, which does work for making me not able to hear my own breathing but then I can't hear anything lol)

Hey people my Nova Pro Wireless started to crackle and pop and i went to Elkjøp (major electronics retailer in Norway), and they replaced the headset. The replacement also crackles and pops, and i've tested it on my phone vie bluetooth, on my chromebook with both the DAQ and bluetooth and on every USB port on my computer on both Fedora Linux and Windows 11, and it crackles on everywhere, is it time for RMA again or? I really like this headset, and i don't want to bash Steelseries, but it seems like quality control is very bad if both headsets are faulty or we're i just really really unlucky?

I posted too soon, individual channels work, but if I put discord on chat, i can no longer hear the game or the chat.

sounds like it's frozen, there's a reset switch hidden under one of the ear pads you can press with a paperclip or something similar. otherwise if you can't access the button you'll just need to wait for the battery to die

I have a question. I did the new Software Update for my Arctis Nova Pro Wireless and the Base Station. At first it had some hik-ups but made it in the end. But now after i started my PC the Base Station didn't seem to work anymore. I thought okay maybe the Cable but when i switched the Cable nothing happens. I even tried reinstalling the app but now i have nothing. What can i do now? Thank you in Advance.

Does anyone have any idea as to why my resolution was suddenly changed for no appearant reason. I use an Ultrawide with a reso of 3440x1440p, and moments would scale it down to 2560x1072p which was completely fine because it was still UW. I had the reso setting on gg set 1440p along time ago and it never interfered with any of my clips for the past 2 months and now for some reason it is deciding to force my clips to be 2560x1440p which compresses the videos, which is not what i want. Sounds like classic discord desktop streaming, where it just takes every sound on your pc so same sound exists in sonar mic and headset mic which doubles, and same with other channels

Best to stream the app itself so it doesint stream all channels for no reason

Hi, my base station stopped working this morning, idk why. It worked fine last night, now that i booted my pc this morning, its just not working at all.
I'm also unable to connect the headset via usb c to my computer, the only way i get it to work now is via bluetooth, but the quality is very bad.
I guess my only option is to buy a new base station, because it feels like I've tried literally everything.
The everything i've tried list:

• plugged it into several different usb ports on my pc, with different cables
• plugged it into the wall with 2 different usb c cables
• tried to reset the station multiple times via not plugging it into the pc for about 2mins
• tried both of the usb c ports on the back of the station with all of the above methods

So if anyone knows anything else i could try, hmu :D

EDIT: I've also tried to factory reset the headset itself to connect it via usb to my pc. I moved the right earpad out of the way and used a sim tool to press the reset button for like 10secs

what language layout do you have? if you go into the keyboard settings, is the layout of the keyboard set correctly?

are you using Prism or PrismSync? They're both separate things so if you have PrismSync on it's not going to show the changes done in Prism.

Hi, I downloaded the SteelSeriesGG app, connected my headphone by USB, did the dowloads, the updates... activated sonar,went in discord to select the headphone and mic while watching the official tutorial video and still, my mic is not detected. looks like an issue with the usb hub or usb controller. try unplugging one or 2 of the devices. pc restart etc. all the usuals.

Fixed my problem. The problem was that the microphone wasn't working anymore. The solution is to replug the headphones after every restart. Great.

Hey! Ever since i got new headset, i have had sound crackling and its happening mostly when listening to music and gaming at the same time. Its not happening as much or at all if i turn sonar off. If anyone has experienced this, any fix? I have arctis nova pros. People said "use 44/48khz instead of 96khz" but thats not possible since sonar forces 96khz for whatever reason

when i open a share in discord, the sound is doubled from the share and from the vc, it feel like the software is creating a vitual audio and discord is capturing it

Click Properties

Go to Listen tab

Make sure Listen to this device is unchecked

If it was ON, that alone will fix the echo.

I need to use Mix > Stream for this, and I followed their instructions, but even though I muted the sound in the broadcast settings, I still can't get any sound.

Go to Discord → Settings → Voice & Video

Set:

Input Device: Arctis Nova 3P Microphone

Output Device: Arctis Nova 3P Headphones

Disable “Input Sensitivity Auto”

Enable Echo Cancellation

Disable “Stereo Mix” if it appears

If Discord is using “Default” or “Stereo Mix,” it will loop audio.

Check screen share settings
When sharing your screen:

Choose Application Window instead of Entire Screen

Make sure “Sound” is enabled only once

Avoid sharing a window that already outputs audio through Discord (like a browser with Discord open)

i just had to push the power button and it entered 2.4 pairing mode

Nova 3P Wireless no sound but connected to gg, my fix was changing the pairing mode by pressing the power button once and changing the pairing mode from bluetooth mode to 2.4 mode
