The solution to this problem is actually very simple; I found it after trying for 2 hours. There's a button on the dongle, switch to USB mode and the problem will be solved.

howdy all, anyone else having an engine issue where some keys arent selectable? ive just had my Apex TKL replaced under warranty for a single key not responding to RGB changes in the app. brand new keyboard out of box 5 mins ago has 2 keys and they arent even selectable in the engine tool....

i've had a issue with steelseries headsets, i currently have arctis nova 7 and my microphone (inside the headphones) is not working at all, i had this issue few years ago with other headphones from steelseries and i had to buy new headphones, do i have to do that again to be able to use mic?

nothing helps, clean or not clean re-install. also cleaned the register, did the system check with dism and sfc commands.

If you have a previous version of the installer you can install that then update to a previous version and it'll work fine until it updates back to the latest.

I believe there's a version.json or similair where you can trick it into believing it's GGv9999 or something and not update

Sad to hear about giving up on macOS development; it means new products will only be for Windows. I bought SteelSeries because of macOS and Windows compatibility. At the moment, Corsair is the brand that invests in two platforms, and their software is very good.

The issue with SteelSeries is that they need to find a good programmer who can develop software in a smart, not old-school, way.
