When Denji saw Makima's true nature that part had me tearing up as more unfolded in the succeeding chapters. The ending made me think of the ending to the Buu Saga, but I won't spoil that. Style in this series has been appealing from the start tho, really raw and brutal. I gave the manga a 9/10.||

yeah I watched the first three rebuilds

1st one: Just a remake of the first 6 eps of the show in an updated artstyle. Nothing too special ||they show Rei's nipple doe||
2nd one: The best one - it was kind of a remake of eps what, 7-20(?), but it had some differences - ||it focused more on Rei and Shinji's relationship which I really liked||
3rd one: It was okay, I didn't dislike it. A completely new thing, it leaves and adds more questions than it answers, it's clear that it's a setup for the 4th rebuild - shame that one got delayed like 6 years
4th one: iirc, it's supposed to be 2 and half hours long? I got spoiled on one pretty big thing unfortunately but otherwise I'm looking forward to watching it. I also heard despite the studio's budget the CGI used in the movie is somewhat poor

I'd rather recommend people the evangelion manga instead of the rebuilds

@final gorge right so basically a thing that was DITF manga only ||there was a squad of dudes, they were basically better then everyone and their mechs were better then everyone's at least according to the scientists who designed em, they fight the main antagonist if the first half, they get bodied, almost all of em die, only 2 mechs are left in tact-ish, one escapes with the two pilots, the other is hijacked and upgraded by the antagonist and also looks fucking awesome||

Well ||she uses it to activate a super weapon, that in the original could only be activated by the protagonist's mech Strelizia, and when she activates the weapon it's set up with a trap to immobilize her so she can be easily destroyed, and she's just blown up with the super weapon, can't defend herself||

Now the biggest issue with this

Is who sets it up

||in both the manga and anime these fuckers called Virm, wanna basically destroy earth, and the antagonist for the first part of the story wants to save it (by destroying humans cuz they ruined earth, and Virm because Virm are dicks,so Virm who set themselves up as several high ranking humans, set up this trap, now in the anime that trap leads to the humans and original denizens of earth uniting and fighting Virm, but in the manga, they destroy her in the super weapon, Virm shows up goes like "ey she's gonna die lmao" and they leave||

Note I didn't explain all the details of the anime version because I think my hand will fall off if I type all that rn lol
