||To me, it seems that Eren is more layered than what I initially thought. It seems that there is an inner conflict inside him. His 'younger self' that yearns for freedom and the will to destroy everyone outside of the walls. This would explain why we saw younger eren in chapter 131 to sort of symbolize this side of his character. On the other hand, you've got the side of him whose mind got all twisted due to the memories he received when he kissed Historia and who realized that there is humanity outside of the walls and that he has no other option other then to keep moving forward on this predestined path that he has inherited with the founder titan.||
