I'm on chapter 99 of Berserk (So around 5 chapters into the Conviction arc) so far after starting 5 months ago and I gotta say it has got to be the best manga I've read so far. Everything about the series is just so damn good that I can't get enough of it. The artwork, the plot progression, the lore, the dark and gruesome atmosphere, and the tragic character arc Guts goes through is just perfect in my eyes. You can't make up the shit that happens in Berserk, and it pretty much adds more to the experience, and the most iconic aspect of Berserk, the Golden Age, has got to be among the most compelling story arcs in the history of fiction.
Overall I'm happy I took my time and my money into this series, because it is just fantastic overall, and the Deluxe Editions pretty much bring the whole thing to life. Miura is a literature genius, but it's too bad we lost him to Idolm@ster

Aot Final Chapter Spoilers: ||It's fine, I like that most of the characters come full circle, As hype and nail biting as the post timeskip manga has been I think its really hard or downright impossible to have a satisfying ending when you make your main character into the main villain. Was hoping for erendemption but oh well, journey not the destination||

Heâll probably just lay it all out in a couple of chapters and I canât blame âem. Long and convoluted stories from the past with all new characters donât seem to work anyway, look at the first avatar for example. It kinda sucked because we had no connection to him and it temporarily stopped the plot with Kora for an elaborate explanation of something that didnât really need to be that thoroughly explained.
