Idk anything about the walking dead but basing it on scientific principles of infection, I’d say either the bite has some sort of supportive biocatalytic agent to get the slow pathogen proliferation going OR the bite is simply more potent (think of it like how live vaccines work, they’re attenuated, weaker forms of the virus that gives some symptomatic side effects after the vaccination and the bite in comparison confers a direct and more severe infection).

Feng Shen Ji beat at 3 seasons and 182 chapters. Fantastic Battle Manhua, I loved it from start to finish. Well, ok the start of Season 3 was a bit eh with the new faction but it’s all gravy once the ball truly gets rolling. But I’m getting ahead of myself.

Feng Shen Ji is the story of humanity’s struggle against gods, set in ancient China. Using the end of the Shang Dynasty as a historical backdrop, it’s a great mystical fantasy martial art combat manga with top notch art and battle choreography. Also yes, tons and tons of aura farming for all you younguns. Very hype throughout. Now it does have a ton of blood and skeleton imagery. Also loss of limbs.

Highly recommended to everyone.
