I don't fully understand string theory to give you a succint answer but look all over part 7-8 stands have gone from a tangible substance to strings and since pucci reset the world the villains are no longer themed around time but now space as valentine has a dimension hopping stand(referencing this phenomenon) his closest counterpart kaato has a similar stand that controls space now instead of time, all over part 8 there are references to boundaries and borders being broken ojiros stand needs a 'barrier' between it that seperates him from the user, walking heart pierces a borer to defeat damo, the parfait metaphor as well as us seeing two characters literally fuse seems to point in this direction as well. Add to that that we are literally again seeing revised versions of past events show that this isn't just a 'random' universe but one that is some strange amalgamation of the one in the past
