Yeah I understand that, all have their own POV when it comes to this series. I do admit that the adaptation, which I consumed first before starting to read the manga, did kinda fall short in comparison to the original - especially with Part 1. A lot of cut out stuff that gave it way more character in the manga.

Well, things like Danny's death definitely had way more impact in the manga than the anime. In the anime, there was like a brief mention of the relationship between Jonathan and Danny and that's about it before the latter died. In the manga, it actually gives some depth about how they started out and why Jonathan loves his dog so much.
Although I'm still confused on why didn't Jonathan fucking crucify Dio with rusted nails after the first Danny scene. Smh.
