I will never understand why people who want Jobin alive brings up him needing to be "confronted by the Higashikatas" as if they'd accomplish anything.

The Higashikatas are jobbers that get threatened into silence by Jobin. The only one who WOULD do something without just crying for a good while was Norisuke... And he did start to do shit with King Nothing until Jobin shut that down. The entire situation was a mess, with Jobin doing a lot of what he did for the sake of the family. He even broke down while holding Norisuke's body.

Daiya is far too immature and kept in the dark to randomly try and stand against Jobin. A realistic reaction would be shaken up and crying for a girl like her, not randomly running up and trying to throw hands. Hato followed the messed up family tradition of just keeping quiet and never really standing up for anything. She helped keep the secret of Kaato from her own sister Daiya after all. At best Hato will do something later, but she's been established to sit and cry for a good while before doing anything, that's what she did in the Vitamin C arc. And that was just with her random boyfriend, imagine how long it'd take for Hato to steel herself against her own brother?

Joshu goes without saying. The dude freaks out at the slightest bit of change in the family and this arc fully followed up on that by having Joshu be nothing but talk that gets shit on by everyone.

Mitsuba Higashikata was never going to do anything against Jobin. She married the man, she knew what she signed up for. Her heelturn against Yasuho fully shows Mitsuba's true colors when it comes to "family versus what's right". That one comment about "Higashikatas slapping Jobin" confuse me. Speed King is superior to California King Bed, Walking Heart, and Nut King Call. There's also the factor that emotional siblings wouldn't want to kill their older brother. How on earth would they be able to do anything against Jobin and Speed King?
