An Eliksni who became obsessed with the Hive after being trapped in the Hellmouth for a time
Womp
He joined the Scorned Barons and created his Throne World from the death of Cayde-6
Gah
Itās a very modest Throne World and collapses almost instantaneously after his death within it
What's the golden Vex on Nessus?
Not sol divisive
I mean the gold Vex behind Xur
We dont know, just that it's gold played, ghost comments on it being gold
And to keep it from cayde
Task completed š
Thanks uldren
itās one of the older collectives
Mercury I think
only relevant because it was in vanilla D2 where the only vex we were facing were the basic overall solar system units
is there any lore entries that are about gaurdians going to therapy or something?
you got new light dialogue
i feel a good amount of em need therapy
// OPTIONAL {
// NOTE Veteran dialogue
Ghost: Hezen Protective. But I thought they were only deployed on Venus. Does this mean different Vex units have started traveling through gates? That's⦠not great.
}
// OPTIONAL {
// NOTE Non-veteran dialogue video (https://youtu.be/RyYeP1p738c)
Ghost: A gold-plated Vex? Weād better not tell Cayde. Heād co...
Shayura is the main example
is there any gaurdians who are pacifists?
yes
thereās a whole colony settled off somewhere
Efrideet is one of them
thereās also a lore tab from the pov of a retired guardian
although thatās not really pacifist
So nezzy right, he's the final God of pain. Why is it pain and not fear
i mean pain isnt allways something scary
is riven the strongest ahamkara of them all or is she one of the strongest ahamkaras? before she was taken atleast
Ik but he talks about fear the entire time in RoN
Pain can just be aching or longing
He ain't very painful in the raid lol
Pain could technically be fear as fear is the avoidance of pain
Fucking 1 phase
Lol
Should read what he does to one unfortunate Titan
is there any reason why the landing zone for savathunes throne world is called quagmire, does quagmire mean something?
Which the armor loretabs Exomind upon
Swamp
Where???
giggity
itās a quagmire
Armor pieces for the raid
soggy swamp
Iām lazy so imma find a Byf video on it cause I know heād get on that
Thx
And to everyone else (kinda)
Destiny 2's Lore and Story tells us about Nezarec's power and how he's even strong enough to drive guardians mad. The Root of Nightmares raid armour tells us about a Titan called Briar who lost his sight, his home, how power and even his ghost to the influence of Nezarec. This titan was of course then picked up by the infamous Acolytes of Nezare...
Nezarec got some crazy eyeballs

Somewhere, the other tiny star is calling out.
You try to answer, but it cannot hear you. Not without help. You want to help, but you are paralyzed. Your limbs are crushed and your heart beats so slowly. You've never known weakness so intimately as you do now.
You can only wait.
I am the last Speaker, but I have been searching for the next. I ...
you pepe reacted me and I take that very personally
before you ask yes she did come back to kill red legion but that was only temporary and technically not with her light
Going back to elaborate on this because I now have a charger spot, Toland was part of Eris and Eriana-3ās fireteam of 6 who entered the Hellmouth to get back at Crota for slaughtering so many Guardians in the Great Disaster; Toland got all of his squad killed because he really wanted to hear the Deathsong like the Sword Logic simp he is, Eris was the only one who survived, you probably know the rest if youāve asked about Erisā past
Fun Fact: Efrideet features a little bit in Drifterās backstory, she enters his bar at the foot of Felwinterās mountain keep when some warlords came in to make a ruckus, he tells her about the incident where one Iron Lord sacrificed the innocent village he was living in to ambush some Warlords, which reached Felwinter who then summarily went to kill said Iron Lord
Oh yea I remember that part
Swermp
I can't believe we're gonna turn Cayde 6 into a gun
mf gonna be the king of hearts
Actually though, that Golden Gun sniper has a bunch of design similarities with Hawkmoon, including the exact same barrel shape (which is also the barrel shape of the Sharpshooter Golden Gun, which uses the Hawkmoon/Eyasluna model)
So I wonder if this sniper isn't something Crow made or if Hawkmoon somehow got warped into it via the energies of the Pale Heart
Though it getting imprints of a Stag is a bit weird
What????
It's a joke cuz we're getting a Sniper Rifle that can self-Golden Gun
Does the final god of pain have lore
Check bungie twt
Nezarec has very vague and limited lore
Go for the gold.
No matter your class, summon a Golden Gun all your own with this Exotic Sniper Rifle. Arriving with The Final Shape.

I saw it and omg im hyped
bro I am going through the riven and taranis story, and bungie really cooked here
I kinda cried a bit
it is really beautiful and I hope final shape has the same stuff
It encases every thing I love about destiny lore and shows the beauty and deepness of characters that we usually just see in passing or as vessals for quest giving
Fr, it was really good
Any story theories for the final shape?
Weāre gonna beat the Witness
We will fight some Dread and win
We might even get some neat loot
Aw man
Something will die in a very violent way
The witness pulls out the third darkness subclass and wins, and uninstalls destiny immediately
Cayde-6 does something cool
Interesting theories lol
Is there a difference between hive gods and worm gods? They look the same under my shoes when i slay them!
One is a hive
That was fast
Very wowza how do you do that? @gentle geyser
The Hive Gods are Hive Gods and the Worm Gods are Worm Gods, theyāre pretty distinct
Interesting

Failure
Shush
Thank you!
No prob, bob
What was the name of the hive dude from the mars vanguard mission?
It was underground and stuff
Valus taur'c i think. (atleast for me it was)
The wizard one right?
With the huge portal behind him
Thatās the Cabal guy
Oof it started with X i think
I remember him having some nice lore but idr what exactly
Any other details about the strike/battleground?
Nokris?
you mean Nokris then?
YES!!
It wasn't x
Nice
It was n

why did you think it was Ta'aurc?
One of my fav bosses ngl
oh, you green names all look the same to me

Didnt nokris have some somewhat lengthy lore? For a character
he was Crota's brother
Disowned by Oryx for researching necromancy
so basically, Oryx disowned Nokris because he wasn't as strong as Crota
so Nokris decided to commune with the Worm Gods and ended up forming a pact with Xol who gave him the power of Necromancy because Xol was afraid that Yul would kill him off
Xol also being the runt of the family
this led to Oryx completely casting Nokris away from him
going as far as to erase any record of his existence except for a single statue that stood defiant in his Dreadnaught
His statue is a scannable in the Dreadnaught, Ghost notes that itās like Oryx wanted him erased from history
Iām so slow
we first heard of his name in The Taken King where we scanned that statue
How many siblings does crota have?
and we only got one other mention when Eris asked Asher Mir if he knew anything about it
3 that we know of
Norkis, Ir Anuk, and Ir Halak
the latter 2 being the deathsinger sisters we kill in King's Fall
They are also the inventors of the Deathsong
no actually
the Deathsong was originally The Song of Life which originated from the "Gardener" (probably the Traveler)
it was then stolen by the Hive where it was studied for centuries
Sooo the irs stole the sample from the gardener and they made their own song
Whats the deathsong again? Ive never done kings fall unfortunately
then, an unnamed Hive known as the Stricken made her own Aria and assassinated the First Conductor
prior to this, the Hive actually revered the lifesong and had a choir perform it in order to mark the passage of seasons
it was then believed that the song had been slowly corrupting those who heard the choir with its "lies"
so anyways, the Stricken would then be captured and would be studied so the Hive can learn what she did
Neat, you learn something new every day
then the Deathsong would be created
if I'm correct, it was first used to wipe out a powerful and well defended species with a choir of only 20 strong
yes
basically, the Deathsong does not just kill those who listen to it
it destroys you on an ontological level
Ah damn
Fucking hive man
I hope we get an episode where we just eradicate the hive atp they are legit everywhere
The only place ive never seen them is Nessus for some reason
Heresy will pertain to the Hive, though I think it will be the Hidden Swarm specifcally
Hidden swarm? Is it like a specific faction inside the hive?
Moon Hive
Oh oh ok
lore-wise, they were Crota's main invasion force
The red ones
actually, it seems they were Crota's main defense force
Yeap i remember back in shadowkeep
Boiling from the wounded surface of the Moon, the Hidden Swarm is the Hive's outermost line of defense - a numberless legion that repels intruders before they breach the temples and shrines of the vast Hive fortress.
We will be going back to the moon then
I'm relatively new to destiny and looking for a clan if anyone is recruiting UK
Awesome i missed that place
we already went back there
in Shadowkeep
we can just go to the Moon right now
Yea thats what i meant, we can go there after a long time
Thatās most likely the foothold the Vex have on Nessus already, and theyāre seemingly the only other enemy force that can oppose them
True but i barely has any purpose
but if you're meaning that you want the Moon to be story-relevant again, then I guess Heresy will be that
I do need divination oops
Yeap thats what meant
Yea exactly what I was thinking. The cabal or the elliksni are not strong enough to go against them
not like Nessus has anything the Hive want at this time
Its still there for some reason
Haven't had any use since defiance
Give us one of the vaulted planets back plsš
Ig nessus has the starter exotic quests
So its has some purpose
Oxa
It's valuable tech
But they don't use tech unless its ships and stuff
Ig its all about predictions so it could be helpful after the witness is gone
It also MAY have connections to Taox
The female krill right?
Idk how taox and oxa would connect
But this is destiny ig
I mean Cabal probably have enough military equipment to be a challenge, the Vex are about equal in ability to overwhelm through sheer numbers and power (though in the Vexās case thatās because their Radiolaria transforms material in more Vex)
Yea but cabal couldn't last as long against them. As for the vex I agree they could have the upper hand
Between all theses races, there are humans too. Idk why but it feels wild thinking about how weak humans are compared to them
So like, what the hell actually is a Taken Chimera?
It is also referred to as Oxta
The disgusting servitor tentacle thing but u probably mean what it is in detail
It's an outside chance but Byf did bring it up himself so it's something to consider seeing as we do not know where Taox is
Probably a Taken Servitor; the reason why theyāre so meaty is, to my guess, due to whatever portion of the Servitor is dedicated to producing Ether, considering it contains the nutrients and hormones to encourage healthy Eliksni growth
Yea I want to know how one is created.
Bungie has explicitly said that the Taken Chimeras aren't Taken Servitors though, right?
Well, we currently don't know how exactly Servitors are made soooo
Have they?
To know how one could be Taken we would need to know more about them
Thats true actually. Byf do be bringing cool characters to the table after we've completely forgotten about them
Actually curious if thereās a statement by a writer or whatnot that denies Chimeras as Taken Servitors
Kinda how we got dog hives but I know thereās a singular lore entry mentioning them in passing
(Thank you Seth)
@hearty dagger hope this helps
I'm pretty sure that Bungie has said that they're not taken servitors, that's also probably why they've made an effort to actually call them Chimeras as of late. They're clearly based on a Servitor, with the outer plating, but they're not Servitors that have been taken.
Donāt trust Destinypedia
Why not?
I don't think that Servitors (and shanks for that matter) can be taken, as they're not technically sentient.
Nvm @hearty dagger don't click the link
Very frequently they put stuff that the community thinks is right but isnāt completely the case; infamously, Eramis was a different name prior to Beyond Light, but some editor on Destinypedia misheard āBaroness of the Shipstealersā as āEramis of the Shipstealersā
Yuuup
Ahh nvm then thanks for telling me
Kinda like Byf and the Krill
I had to explain that to someone
Wasn't Eramis named in the Zero Hour mission?
Whoās the ahamkara thatās referred in warlords ruin
So from purely a lore perspective, is there a chance that we could see Taken version of races that were destroyed by Oryx during the Books of Sorrow?
Its doable but i don't think they would create new models for them
But that's just my opinion
Thats why i said purely from a lore perspective.
I'd love to see, if they ever were to make a Destiny 3, that they retire the Champion System and Implimented new Super Elites like the Lightbearer Hive into each race. Using old races that the Taken have bested could be a fun way to give them their own Super Elites.
As they had no actual designation prior to whenever they reference the proto-Hive as Krill in-game
I feel like in d3 we could see new races and species
Iād need to ask Mael or Dova if Variks spouting out the āBaroness of the Ship Stealersā line was before Zero Hour
Do they have one now? Nvm dumb question don't reply
I think that D3 could be helpful to possibly retire the Cabal and the Fallen as enemies as well. As far as I know from a lore perspective, most of those races are either scattered or on our side.
Elliksni are both
Bungie seems set on D2 as a live service
Maybe a supplementary title could explore the universe
They did say that destiny 2 amd destiny will bring more or whatever
Like ODST or Spartan Strike/Assault
I just feel like there are a lot of rough parts of D2 that could be sanded off by hitting a reset button on us.
Yeah, but theyāve already done the reworked lighting system that came with Beyond Light and a number of other optimizations, not to mention the new Episode release schedule. I suppose a D3 that runs alongside D2 and D1 might work but it feels like theyāre in it for the long haul with D2
I think that the 3 biggest things would probably be 1: The fallen and the Cabal don't make a huge amount of sense as main antagonists anymore, the biggest groups of them are either leaderless or on our side. 2: Getting rid of Champions would be such a relief, they've long overstayed their welcome but so much of the game is built on them. and 3: a Destiny 3 could see all of the Subclasses turned into Prismatic, allowing us the ultimate freedom to build.
Im relieved and scared about that ngl. Bungie has been having a hard time lately so im kinda scared when it comes to the leader position..
Isometric shooter would go hard in The Destiny setting
Anyhow wrong channel for that
Nah itās fine here so long as we reign it back in after a bit
Gn
Adios
What's the deal with all the taken energy flying around the dreaming city?
The Dreaming City is under a curse where the same three weeks repeat on a loop, and also Maraās Throneworld that she crafted using a little bit of Oryxās Throneworld got smashed by Oryx and is basically a massive leak for rabid Taken to enter the Dreaming City
There is also the Blind Well, which Iāll let this explain how thatās working out: #šlore-discussion message
Ah, okay, thank you
Pretty sure we are in a strong week too
If only my self-esteem were strong š
If only my sleep schedule was strong
MOOOOOD
I have a really easy solution from number 1
After the events of the final shape, at least in lore, doesnāt have to be in gameplay yet or now, but introduce ALL the factions (except the obvious exceptions) lightbearers
Obviously weāre gonna be the witness, how do the enemy factions remain and threat and more importantly how do they maintain morale
Simple, they also now have the power of godkillers
Even if its not expanded on in d2
LYSANDER š„
Now you gotta wonder
Who were the rangers (before the guardians)
How did we fall into a dark age
The witness and the black fleet
There were the Iron Lords who serve as a precursor to the Guardians being Lightbearers dedicated to the defense of others who cannot defend themselves
Iām not totally sure if the Pilgrim Guard or the Six Coyotes also fit into these pre-Guardian Lightbearer groups
Hmmm
More specifically I am unsure if they were established before or during the early development of the Last City
Hmmmm
What is riven, I donāt know what the dragon things are except riven is the last one
they are monky paw draongs
Whatās so special about them or why did they get killed off in the first place
cuz they can change reality
Fancy
and when they do they monkey paw
cuz they get sustience and power by eating reality
Wtf š
and if they alter the wish they get more
Weird
riven was the last living one known for a while
then eggs
and we killed riven, but part of us fighting her caused her to be more permenant
wish dragons already are not binded by life
some exotics use their bones to draw power
its just if they are alive, it is much eaiser for them to do shit
š¤Æ
They specifically feed off desire for reality to be different, itās described as the divide between āreality as isā to āreality as desiredā. If it isnāt obvious, theyāre paracausal, and tout their ability to change reality to entice potential petitioners to give them a wish and for them to mess it up purposefully
Honestly thumbs up bozo, you got it all
Can someone explain what is happening here
How did Maya bend a vex mind to help humanity
Why does soteria wanna help humanity
How did the witness destroy a galaxy or make it unhabitable
Soteria is a human-made AI with a splash of Vex tech mixed in thanks to the Ishtar Collective's Vex expertise
She isn't Just An Entire Vex
ā¢ļø
So she is kinda like Rasputin
Like a cousin but designed for colonisation aid rather than defence, yeah
What are the chances that Rasputin is gone for ever
I feel like it is low for me
Since he has so many bunkers across the system no way he didn't have a backup
Ah, well. I wouldn't say it's impossible given the amount of contingencies he has had (that he may not even be aware of), but that really comes down to the writers. And to be honest, Rasputin has been a bit of a pain on their front.
Because he is too powerful?
It's hard to keep having the Golden Age War God with access to Golden Age weaponry stay on the sidelines, yeah.
Either way how did the witness destroy Andromeda?
Soteria said the numbers of habitable planets was millions
And became just a couple dozens in seconds
Dr. MS: All the simulant expeditions?
AI-S: Yes. I⦠hold⦠Query refined. There are now two safe destinations with Triangulum.```
Here we see *one* viable destination within Triangulum become *two.* The worlds, therefore, were not destroyed, but the path towards them was rendered uncertain and unsafe by a moving, unknown anomaly.
This information, by the way, was sent to Rasputin and was key to his early defence and preparation for the Collapse.
But as we know Rasputin was useless against the darkness
Twice mind you
I don't think anyone was expecting magic Pyramids who defied physics and couldn't be harmed, to be fair.
But Rasputin can destroy the traveler?
Maybe
It seems inconsistent
Well everyone was pretty confident his sleeper simulants could destroy it
Keep in mind that Pyramids are not the same class of entity as the Traveler
Well, it's not that Pyramids couldn't be harmed, but they defended themselves from harm. Asher's missile, for example, was held in place and never actually hit a shot.
The Cabal within the Europan Pyramid nearly destroyed the interior statue using their suppression tech and handheld weaponry.
Nearly?
When it comes down to it, unlike the Pyramids, the Traveler is not a combatant. Even against Essence, the Traveler didn't truly attack it.
Yes, that was part of the WQ campaign.
I remember in the taken king how they alluded to ghaul when in shield brother strike they say the cabal were sending data back to their HQ
ā
JUNE3/10:43AM
The walls are shaking again. Like thunder. I wonder how deep they've gotten now? Good thing we're so far in. This room was meant to hold. Too thick to breach, supposedly. We'll see if it crumbles under the weight of the Vex.
"You're worried they'll get in here."
It's almost like he can hear what I'm thinking⦠Then again, who know...
hah yeah that was a bit of a mangled piece of lore
But the overarching implication was that the Cage was built from this
Did the war with the vex happen before or during the dark age
Really??
Very late Golden Age but yes
Why didn't Elise or Clovis-1(Banshee) SOS for help
A series of reasons
Firstly the Europan facility was secretive and Clovis Bray wanted to keep it this way. He even set up a literal nuclear failsafe.

Is the Elsie bray here the same one we know and love
Secondly
"Charon's Crossing. Main comms station for Eventide to connect with the rest of the Sol system," I say.
"This is the place that AI mentioned⦠I thought we weren't coming here."
Dr. Bray steps in. "We're just making sure Clovis can't get what he wants. I'm sending a distress call, and then we're jamming all external comm links. We'll meet back up with the others when we're done here."```
```"Sorry to cut this exciting chat short, but our whole comms system is being overridden," I say.
"Clovis." Dr. Bray is furious. "That damn liar⦠Our internal comms systems aren't down at all. He's going to get billions of people killed. Screw this. We have to get everyone on that evac ship immediately. Then, I'll deal with the Vex and Clovis. End this for good."```
Yes
What about the one Clovis killed
Hmmmm
I thought the Elsie we know is from another timeline
Rebuilt her from a backed up mindscan, blamed Vex
Crowā uldren
But what about ana
Ah well there's the thing about that
Elsie's timeline loop isn't a series of one timeline to the next timeline
Imagine this particular timeline as a tree. In the past, the trunk, we all share the same history, the same timeline. But then the tree grows branches. Elsie has travelled up each branch, and each time it dies, she's placed back upon the trunk.
Our branch has not yet died. It is flowering. But we share the same trunk, the same past. She is, in many ways, still "our" Elsie.
Ana is a big exception since with what Rasputin told us, she woke up next to her badge and name
Ana, like Savathƻn, chose to become who she was.
She embodies that person.
Crow did not.
I see
It is like rebuilding a broken car and giving the same name as before
But some people may give the car a new name since it was rebuilt
But some would just keep the same name
Huh? šØ
We share the same past. The timeline splits from roughly around Cayde's promotion to Vanguard. She is sent back there each time.
It's Groundhog Day but it only resets upon an unknown trigger.
Ok so she still experienced everything we read about in the legacy L
Yes, which is still our history
And tries again
Or jumps back to a new branch
Which one, does she jump to a new one or stays on the same branch further back
In the timeline where she met us, why did she choose to not to meet the rest of the vanguard
Or did she already know most of them
it's not exactly a Ship of Theseus since the change happens all at once
Do you think we will ever see the distrutory, the home of the awoken
At this point there has to millions of awoken at this point
How long ago was the collapse?
A while ago
several centuries
i don't know if there's an answer, but i personally feel like it was 300-400 years ago
Bungie has said that Destiny takes place in the 28th century iirc
Ares 1 was in 2014 right?
How tough are Hive Knights' flesh?
when was that said?
Googled it again, i dont think bungie ever explicitly said it, but Wikipedia does lol
Not the destiny wiki, like real Wikipedia
we tend to not have exact numbers on how tough enemies are
golden age was a few hundred years, the dark ages definatley lasted a while, and im pretty sure the citys a couple hundred years
I remember Osiris or someone once said that it took 100 of Shaxx's redjacks just to kill one
if you mean the "set about 700 years in the future" yeah that aint gonna be accurate
Fair enough
thats way too short of a time period
we are probably somewhere around the 32nd-34th century
it doesn't feel like anything more than 1000 years tho, 1500 at the absolute most
do all of the alien species come from the milky way galaxy or other galaxies?
cuz in my mind, the eliksni and the cabal are also from the milky way, but the Hive are from waaaay far away. The Vex are obviously a completely different story.
and the precursors and the lubraeans would be in a similar boat as the hive i think
the vex just exist
yeah, isn't it speculated they're from a different timeline entirely?
like the previous "game" or whatever?
well going off the game, the vex were the winners of it, and carried over into this version of it
except now paracausality is involved
No.
Even if someone were to re-enter the one-way trip of the Distributary entrance, billions of years passed in the time it took the outside world to reach the early Dark Ages.
It's impossible to comprehend what it'd be like there.
A D1 pre-release trailer said this, but when we look at the actual lore, it's more of a "near future" scenario.
I assume this is without a source and based off of player estimates - because we do not have such a timeline
This goes by Unveiling, which is inherently flawed as a standalone piece of concrete information - it even calls itself a metaphor. I wouldn't source it as hard fact in and of itself.
I see a bloo
Do taken like⦠teleport? Like vex? Like how do they appear to āglitchā?
Taken can open portals, and sometimes teleport short distance, yes.
Mael, is there any information you know of regarding where in space planets like Torobatl, Riis, and Fundament are? I talked about that a little bit earlier and my personal ideas
There is not, no. We know the Eliksni travelled for... I believe it was decades, and the Cabal a year or two, but we don't know the speeds of their engines or any stops or complications either group had.
As for Fundament, the events there were billions of years ago, so there's no telling how far off it may be.
also what brought the cabal here? did they just happen upon us on their conquest a little bit after the collapse?
Depends on what you mean. The original Legions, the Red Legion, or the Ascendancy?
the first cabal to arrive in Sol
Simple conquest, then. Nothing in particular, a coincidence really.
aight
I am really curious about the Dread lore
probably similar to tormentors i imagine
wait, is nezarec even confirmed to be a disciple?
yes he is, i'm dumb lol
Is there any lore significance to the highlighted line or is it just something extra the community team threw in?
I can't see anything significant about it whatsoever.
the only one of those that seems to be of note is Rhulk Indomitable
Yeah I saw that one, heās classified as a Dread which makes sense
Guys what if we use all 3 forsaken ciphers in plc pack, how can i get more to change exotic weapons from that?
You can earn more from Xƻr. The Forsaken ones are simply free gifts.
This kind of question is more for #ādestiny-questions though, as this channel is more for discussing the story, lore, setting, and universe of the game.
Mael once again I request random lore
Actually
Tell us your favourite bit/bits of lore
The Last City pipes paracausal energy through The Wall
I have no idea how or why they do this but it's fascinating to consider
Tks mate
The three kids of savathun.from what ive seen, dont have much lore compared to crota. I would say the same about xivu araths kids but idk if she has any to begin with
The Dark Age, of which we can estimate based off of Saladin and Drifterās accounts as some of the oldest Lightbearers we know of in terms of how long since their first resurrection, ranges from several centuries to a little over a millennia, we have no idea how long the Golden Age nor the City Age has lasted, though itās important to note that Eris was a Last City citizen prior to her death and then resurrection, and her journey and subsequent exit from the Hellmouth had her gone for centuries
While Maelās right in there possibly being some contingency even Red doesnāt know about, we took the subminds from Rasputinās various bunkers across the Sol System to rebuild his fractured mind, and then all of that went away with him when he sacrificed himself in Seraph.
Ironically she has more than Savathun, but only by one
you must learn the way of the sauce
Oh this is sick thanks!
Wish I looked in here more before consulting dpedia, the only thing itās good for is quick citations if they do cite
Wow, and to think I thought a Queen would act more modest
Pardon?
Nvm, I donāt think I can say the meaning of the joke on the server
Bruh, the Ogre model really is the most used
The War God likes Ogres. Makes sense.
How are Ogres born? Ik that Thrall become Acolytes, and Acolytes become Knights or Wizards, so how to hive become ogres?
Torture!
Charged with Hive sorcery, Ogres are abominations of flesh and rage, unleashed from the deepest Hive tunnels as engines of destruction. Apocryphal lore suggests that Ogres undergo terrible transformations as they grow - agonizing rituals that gift them with might and cunning.
Anyway how did the vanguard gain authority
The Consensus was formed very early in the life of the City as a form of government, primarily as a result of and to stop the Faction Wars. The Vanguard, representing and leading the Guardians, were a part of this council.
Ohh
I mean, she kind of is with the least connected lineage
As in, Savathun with the Queen Morph
Is this punishment?
Nope
Just Hive being Hive
Live Hive Reaction
I would be impressed if you could make a āLive Colonel Reactionā
give me a good picture to use and I could probably do it in a while
Why did the traveler leave lubrae
it probably felt like its work had been done
The people of Lubrae used a device to siphon energy from one of their suns
Pick one
when Rhulk went crazy, he reversed that power causing the surface of the planet to die, killing everyone
as for why, well...
for starters, the planet was ruled by a regime that hunted down small groups like his clan-family
Rhulk wanted to fight against this regime which scared his own people, so they cast him out
Rhulk would eventually get captured by the regime and would end up joining them
important to mention as well that he was largely inspired by his father who he saw go nuts and kill a few regime hunters earlier in his life
his father was also captured by the regime prior to Rhulk himself being captured
and his father would join the regime after that
so after a while of working for the regime, Rhulk finds out that his father was never really loyal to them in the first place which pissed him off again
Didnāt bungie confirm that heās the strongest enemy weāve faced
so after killing his father, Rhulk would go for his clan-family who were fleeing to the regime city
they would end up talking him down, then they would betray him and throw him into an abyss
it was there that Rhulk first met the Witness who healed him and gave him the power he needed to just kill everyone
at first, Rhulk felt immense guilt, but then the Witness gaslit him into reveling in it
Love gaslighting
yes, but we kind of had a feeling for a while
Wasnāt he kind of holding back against us as well?
I'l get back to you later, maybe I'll go with the first one
he was doing it to screw with us
anyways, I've got to go for now
He list because he was cocky
Because it had already helped Uplift them and advance their civilization, to which she went off to help other civilizations
Very proud of my helpful wife
How the hell did savathun trap rhulk in the pyramid in her throne world
With the power of the Wellspring and her newfound Light.
Dredgen Yor was the most infamous, corrupted, ex-Guardian mass murderer - including of Guardians - to have ever existed.
Is he dead now or is he still alive?
Dredgen Yor was killed some years ago by The Man With The Golden Gun, Shin Malphur himself. It was a legendary duel of the early City Age that took place upon Dwindler's Ridge.
It would be cool if there was a dungeon or raid boss of him
probably would have to change the T rating then
donāt think bungie wants the headache of that
So dredgen yor played a lot of gambit then
While his Ghost, Vincent, is still alive, Yor threatened Vincent to leave on pain of death.
However, his legacy lives on. Dredgen Yor was originally known as Rezyl Azzir, before a trophy bone claimed from one of the very first encounters with the Hive was grafted upon his Handcannon Rose, and this cursed bone corrupted both Rose and himself. Rose became the one and only Thorn.
No.
The Dredgens were named after Yor.
Dredgens are a fan club using the name
As I said, this was early City Age. Decades to centuries ago. Gambit only started up a few years ago.
basic edgy ones were drawn to gambit, which was by design
but theyāre just people acting on yorās āmemoryā
Interesting
I learned about Siva a few days ago and i thought it looked cool but i heard it was also destroyed ?
When I say "one and only", that's actually not true. Poor choice of words. The original Thorn was destroyed, and we turned it into Rose again, and then into Lumina. The Thorns we see nowadays are replicas, originally used by the Dredgens (not Yor, his fanclub), and we made one ourselves, too.
It was introduced and destroyed in the same D1 DLC - Rise of Iron.
I really wanna buy the siva armor set
It looks really cool
Or is it siva?
Looks like it
Armour set?
Idk if it is the siva armour but it sure looks like it
Theres a synthoceps ornament that looks like it
Yes, there is one.
thereās just a bunch of randomly assorted exotic ornaments because nostalgia is profitable
none of it is a full set
Well, not highly. But it isn't relevant story-wise and hasn't been for years.
It's a construction nanite originally intended for colony construction - it's actually what created Neomuna.
Rasputin used it as a weapon to slay Iron Lord Felwinter, as well as the other Iron Lords by collateral.
We, many years later, destroyed the Replication Complex that had been taken over by the Devil Splicers.
friendly reminder that SIVA was only responsible for killing 8 iron lords
Im hoping after the final shape siva returns
It looks so cool
the hundreds of others were his own firepower
Thats still a lot of iron lords
not really
itās the same number of people who died in Savathunās song
hardly a lot
How come WE couldnt use Yorās Thorn? We could use Necrocasmās base variant, Husk of the Pit.
So why canāt we use the OG thorn?
it was destroyed
essentially just a corrupted piece of scrap
not usable as a gun
it also disgusted our guardian to the point of sickness by just holding it
make up whatever edgy lore you want, the guardian is not morally corrupt at all
we cleansed and repaired it to the point where it became Rose again, and then further enhanced it through light to create Lumina
As stated in the message you're replying to, it was destroyed.
Furthermore, Thorn was so dangerous and powerful that being killed by it wouldn't simply kill a Lightbearer - it would drain their Light and make them unable to be rezzed, even if their Ghost survived.
Dead, for good.
The Thorns we use are lesser copies.
The actual Thorn was a truly vile/horrible instrument that should never be actually used.
Purifying it into Lumina was the best thing that could have happened to it.
So lumina is the original thorn just cleansed instead
You are the new owner of Dredgen Yor's original Thorn. Merely holding the gun makes you nauseousānot out of moral principles, necessarily, but instead a very physical effect which reminds you of losing your Light during the Red War. You don't know what to do with this⦠thing. You have no intention of firing it.
Yes.
Crumbs of young wolf characterization
Shin left us Yorās Thorn, as gave us the task of doing something better with it.
Tbh still one of my favorite exotic quests ever.
What is the ishtar?
The Ishtar Collective was a Golden Age research institute.
They were known for their research on the Vex.
The website itself, if thatās what youāre asking, is a third-party site that catalogues most of the gameās lore.
Iāve had a theory about the OG Thornās ammo. The bullets that it shot would absorb a lightbearer/guardianās light, and then turn it into a poison/venom that kills the guardian. The more light it absorbed, the more poison/venom is released. And the stronger the light, the stronger the poison
Itās a very handy resource.
It's quite venomous to non-Lightbearers.
light is in all thing and thorn ate it out of all things
it was just inherently more dangerous to Lightbearers since draining it from them would leave nothing for the ghost to resurrect
and also paracausal bullet hard counters ghosts etc etc
They made up a whole order, a majority of them were killed off by Warsats and combat frames as Rasputin tried to prevent them from reaching the SIVA replication chamber
And we already have a more advanced nanotechnology which is implied to be in use in the Quicksilver exotic
Itās the same technology implemented in the Cloudstridersā augments
Outbreak is the last portion of weaponized SIVA in the whole system, and only effective because it has a mini replication chamber built into the weapon
it canāt be reprogrammed or used for anything else
Iāve never understood SIVA. Was it a project or a weapons manufacturer? What happened to them?
Well, not highly. But it isn't relevant story-wise and hasn't been for years.
It's a construction nanite originally intended for colony construction - it's actually what created Neomuna.
I just got the rapid hit and its so good in pvp
its nanotechnology, meaning it could be applied to a lot with the proper commands
mainly it was designed for easy construction for colonization, but itās not like anybody ignored offensive capabilities
Willa Bray, its creator, wanted it focused on more uplifting things rather than destructive
this is also what the iron lords were looking for
of course thatās when Rasputin went and had his angry phase and programmed it to kill
after that it was just left lying around until the splicers for the house of devils unearthed it and started applying it to literally everything
they enhanced their weapons and machines, even replacing parts of their own bodies with it and trying to mess around with hive experiments on top of that
it culminated in Aksis, an archon, almost entirely replacing himself with SIVA and proclaiming him as the new Eliksni machine god
meanwhile the iron lords and their bodies were still just trapped in the replication chamber and just got puppeteered by it
Get to fight their mangled corpses
What has fail safe been up to these last few years
I swear we just kind of forgot about her
"Another party I'm not invited to. What a surprise." āFailsafe
Nothing, and we did! The last time anyone properly interacted with her was three years ago! Guess what that was about?
"Thanks, Failsafe!" Glint scooted into the ship, away from the prying eyes of the Vex and Fallen. "I know the Vanguard hasn't been back here in a while butā"
"Correct! It's been almost two years since you last visited, even though you promised to come back often," the AI replied. "I've since developed the emotion of betrayal, just for you!"
"Well, I'm here now." Glint tried to keep his tone light. "I was hoping you could help me with a research project?"
"Of course. I'm happy to be exploited for your gain!" Failsafe replied helpfully. And then, in a more dour tone, "Anything to break up the unending loneliness."```
She said she'd been abandoned and forgotten by us for two years.
That was three years ago.
Failsafe is... lonely.
Iāll actually be disappointed if we donāt have at least something that involves failsafe next year
"I just figured that since you're one of the greatest intelligences in the system, you might have some insight," Glint said.
"Your disingenuous compliment has been noted and appreciated," Failsafe replied, the lilt returning to her voice. "Would you like to play checkers?"``` Ah, poor Failsafe.
She deserved better š¢
Outside of becoming blue what else does being awoken give you
An incredibly elongated lifespan. Mild paracausality that can sometimes be trained (Techeuns). A connection to Mara Sov and the Reef.
Quality skin care too
The Titan exotic chest plate looks like it has Failsafeās symbol on it, potential ride along from her?
- "Veiled Threats Emerge"
what
Season finale mission probably
oh fuck
*i know what happens in the final mission * . . . . i ain't telling it
If youāre hinting at knowing any leaks or anything then yeah, donāt say anything
Doubtful
And no, I would not like proof of how you know
trust me i know you'll just have to wait for when it drops trust me
Huge doubt
so uh, why are the ishtar collective in taranis'es lair again?
Taranisā lair is in the middle of the Black Garden, a space created by the Vex or at the very least used by the Vex and connected to their Network
And the Ishtar team had found 227 simulated copies of themselves when they were studying a Vex subject, to which they sent out into the Vex Network to map it out and send back whatever discoveries they make
As for why specifically Taranisā lair, that is unclear
Perhaps the Echoes episode after Final Shape will explore why their symbol was there
so theres just clones of some random scientist just roaming the garden this very moment?
I seem to recall it was 227 copies of three people, could be wrong though
so these are like, living sentient breathing flesh clones?
You know Maya Sundaresh from the Veil Containment Logs? Chioma Esi who recorded said logs? Theyāre two of the three researchers who discovered their simulated copies in a Vex, and their research is some of the first on the Vex, not only bringing the Ishtar Collective into prominence
And⦠not entirely sure if theyāre flesh and blood, more accurate to say sentient code simulacras of the researchers
oh holy shit i forgot about those two
Maya is also important as the founder of the Future War Cult
And do you remember the strike with the Psion on Nessus, where Ghost asks āWhoās MSund12?ā
ooooooohhhhh, its all coming together now
Not really, as aside from the simulated copies there is no real connecting factor between these events
Or if there is, itāll be covered in Echoes going by the way it seems Vex themed
And assuming you arenāt making this claim based off of leaks, what is your theory on the finale for the season and what points you towards that conclusion
Just leave it alone
Bro has already said heās not saying anything to spoil it so idk why youād reply to a message about the final mission when bros answer would probably be exactly what happens because once you know something, it influences your answers or perspective, even subconsciously
No need to reply to that message from almost an hour ago. Especially as you guys had already moved on in the conversation
Anyone else recovering from psychic damage hearing Shaxx say "sandbagging"?
And the implication that, in-universe, guardians sandbag in Crucible matches enough to warrent the phrase?
well she has a ghost and i doubt bungie gave a specific amount of times
cause of what happened with her puppeteering osiris body for nearly a year
i mean its saint, one of the strongest guardians, that and all it takes is killing her once then spawn camping
In the lore is my guardian one of the strongest?
Saint 14 Best character
Love him
well the player character is certainly above average in lore
But am i one of the strongest?
Like the top 10
again, definatley above average. power scalling dumb
Nah my character reigns supreme
1st place definetly
Actually nah
Iād say saint is stronger
Good second place though
But then again
Shaxx exists
And all the class like leaders like zavala and ikora
So 5th
like i said, tryna powerscale is dumb
It seems doable but really hard
Dammit discord
As Shaxx details in the loretab in which this is detailed in, New Lights generally have a harder time adjusting to resurrection, equating it to feeling sluggish or like coming out of a coma or smth, to which Saint took advantage of this to kill Savathun repeatedly as revenge for possessing Osiris, his lover
The exact purpose for which Paracausality exists is to circumvent powerscaling, because in full honesty the way in which Radiolaria serves as a memetic that transforms surrounding material into more Vex would place them as unbeatable, because ākillingā them would simply spread them further. Being powerful with Paracausality calls into question your innate and practiced skill as well as the fortitude of your willpower, seeing as mindset is key to channeling each subclass, the Darkness subclasses even more so.
The Guardian - your player character - is not the most powerful, but they are consistently able to overcome steep odds and pull out a success. There is also the fact that we do not shy away from weakening our foes before going to eliminate them, so any of our feats are going to have an asterisk next to them if you want to claim we ādid it through sheer powerā.
Who is xita?
Ohh the weapon in rhulks ship
Wait are Osiris and Saint lovers?
Yer
My character is goated
Rhulk yoinked her when he convinced the wormies to follow the Witness
Maybe not the most powerful but he the goat
Oh look a xita in the florida everglades Yoink
Yoink
Wimp womp
They kiss at the end of Plunder
Hey random question but has an Exo ever tried to wear a wig?
Just happened to think of that just now
Exo are my favourite part of Destiny lore so I tend to juse zone out and think about them a lot
Her bird
Hawthorne has a bird next to her
How many people were on each exodus ship
So they are just humans but better in every way
How many people were on the exodus ship that made the awoken
Like you get super powers, long life and connection to a baddie
gross
but anyway it doesnāt really matter
*everyoneās view of destiny is strictly through the lens of an immortal with godlike power, normal awoken are still nothing to you
True
Dunno about that but I have found the initial number of Awoken in the Distributary
Oh wait I forgor you asked this as well and this is what I was looking for the evidence for haha
Two became four, and the four called out, and so the four became eight. In this manner, conjured forth by their doubling, the sleepers did awaken. In time the awoken spilled across the face of the world, and their number was forty thousand eight hundred ninety one.
Here was undertaken the first census, which counted thirty thousand one hundred eleven women, ten thousand two hundred ninety five men, and four hundred eighty five otherwise.
Can an exo Guardian experience D.E.R or what ever the bad thing for exos is called
No
From my understanding, exos are humans that have been turned into a humanoid robot for some particular reason, I'm pretty sure cayde was turned to an exo over a bet or debt or something, anyways, are exos 100% robot physically?
How do you mean?
Their bodies, are they just 100% robotic? Or is it like one of those sci fi movies where the robots have a human brain or something
Full robot, though the consciousness is housed in purified radiolaria - called alkahest - which removes the Vex from the medium and allows a human mind to occupy it
Thereās no flesh in an Exo
Read down a little bit from this message and it should give a pretty succinct explanation what Exos exactly are and why they were developed #šlore-discussion message
Ah, okay. Thank you
Quick hypoethical question
Yall think when the witness dies, one of the remaining disciples will try to replace him?
Most likely.
After all Bungie wouldn't let a perfectly brand new enemy go to waste would it?
Or even all of the remaining ones if there are any
You think that will be the new saga after the 3 episodes?
And some disciples have interpretations of what the final shape might be so they could try reaching that.
Exactly my thought. They could be even worse than the witness
Hm, I doubt it, I think will see some period of Inactivity from the dread and I hope the episodes will focus on other enemies such as Xivu, Eramis and the Eliksni and whatever else.
So trying to achieve tfs by their means it could mess everything up
Eramis is still alive?
Yeah, she escaped the solar system.
(like all fallen)
Either as an enemy or to ask for help if anything is gonna drive them to extinction
Exactly. They look like bugs anyway
Eramis has gone to find her wife and kids
Oh, and some people are theorizing we might go to Lubrae since Eido apparently found the celestial coordinates to it.
Sheās kinda just done with her whole revenge thing. Her hatred has cost her deeply, and she didnāt want to be a slave to the Witness
So sheās seized a chance to get out
She has a family?! Damn ive missed alot
New planets? I would love it if they added new areas
Oh dang well good thing she left
Lubrae is Rhulks home planet, it's most likely devoid of all life since Rhulk blew up one of its suns.
Ohh that would be dopeee
What would be the purpose for going there tho?
Uuuuh, traveller culture or something?
Lubrae was touched by the traveller, and most likely it was one of the first civilizations to do so.
Touched? Like the traveler went there u mean?
We know the precursor, lubrae, then at least nez home world and then hive were blessed, then fallen then use
Blessed not so much for hive but still
Could be close, we know exudos ships had siva to build on new planets
And cloud striders are humans with nano tech augments
True
Needed to check on the fallen btw
There are only 3 fallen houses right ?
No
Like currently active ?
Light, dark and judgement bullshit variks is part of
Understandable
Why?
Fallen houses
Is it a house if it only has one member?
My point
And also when tf was a house of dark founded?
I haven't been too active on fallen lore unfortunately
I'm just trying to consider the structure of all enemies right now
Does byf have a lore vid on elliksni?
Plunder was the last Eliksni season.
Like all the houses and stuff?
So we didn't get much since then.
Uhhhhh, maybe?
So he definitely has a vid
Alright ill check it out
The eliksni of Riis were a planet with a strong community, then when the whirlwind happened loads of ships divided into houses based on what they valued each with a kell... over time of us... killing them... we were left with leaderless fallen who then formed light and dark houses and or dusk right??
Yea the scattered houses formed the house of dusk
Im not sure when house salvation and house of light began
House of light was fairly recent
Some point between red war and so on
House salvation was some time after forsaken right
So the only kells we have are Mithrax, Erimis and Variks... the light the dark and the dusk
We know of
Variks is house judgement
Not dusk
House judgment hasnāt been seen since d1. Idk what happened to them
Bruh that's kinda sad but simple in terms of gameplay and lore
Have you considered
House Dusk are the random purple adorned Fallen we face around various places
D1
Scorn I know is just under fikral who is under the witness as a leader to create dark ether
Nope
Fikrul is not under the Witness
Ehh
Some scorn are controlled by the witness directly arenāt they
Fikrul is his own leader, and has his own Scorn
Presage and some of wq yea
The Witness controls plenty of Scorn, but Fikrul still has his own
Not sure if caretaker came from witness or not
Well this just means then the witness is gone fikral gonna inherit a decent army
Can the witness make her own scorn or did she take some of fikruls
Oh no
So after final shape the Scorn will have fikral as a leader for the race and barons to command smaller groups
She?
The witness is they/them facts, and or gender fluid
Are the taken, vex and scorn forces of the witness? Ig cabal are his army still
Oryx btw is the most powerful trans character in fiction
Itās referred to by it/its
Taken yes
Vex kinda no
Scorn sure
Yes
Don't some sub minds of the vex worship the witness m
Sol Divisive and it's a maybe
Not conclusive
Bit late there
Or at least the darkness which the witness uses ?
Whether it's because of mutual benefit or genuine servitude to the Witness is yet to be clarified
I did not expect so many newcomers in the time I was gone
Decided to just jump to the bottom with one reply
Bionic
The vex as a whole is one big hive mind from my pov it's all doing the same thing just different sub minds have different goals for the collective goal
Look at the image I sent, the cloud one
With thier time bs you can never get rid of them
They don't actually time travel
Theres the black garden one, the ig nessus one, or am i spouting nothing rn
Sol Divisive still
I can copy paste holdon
This one? It's so pretty
Sol Collective - Normal Vex
Sol Divisive - Black Heart worshippers and Black Garden Defenders
Hezen Corrective - Elimination of House of Winter on Venus
Hezen Protective - Completion of the Vault of Glass and Endless Steps
Virgo Prohibition - Combatting the Cabal in Meridian Bay and defending Gateway of Black Garden
Sol Imminent - Far Future Vex also the most far future vex we know of and was encountered in vault of glass
Sol Primevil - Furthest vex in the past we know of, taerraformed Mercury into the machine world we know now and encountered within VoG first time
Sol Progeny, Weavers, and the Proxies aren't factions more of enemy groups within the factions
Omg wtf thats a ton
Oh idk what that is
The witness as a whole has 3 maybe 4 factions to command
You can reduce by half since itās same mind but as offense and defense
. GAZE AT IT BIONICL, LOOOOOK
In fairness most of them is from D1, D2 has almost exclusively been Sol Divisive and its smaller groups dedicated to various tasks
-dread
-taken (taking the will of someone)
-scorn (the ones it creates)
-the clones cabal
YEah idk what it's about
It doesn't exclusively make Scorn, Fikrul has been making way with his own group, trying to raise them up as an actual civilization
Hello Destiny lovers
r u okay nessus?
Can someone tell me
Ohhh i see okokokokok
Got it
Iām playing D1, take a guess
https://youtu.be/nLISxbOAv7c?si=g8XPTuzuEnQQf-0n
Byf made a video about that 4 hours ago.
Check out Starforge and grab yourself a new gaming setup today: https://starforgepc.com/MynameisByf Destiny 2's Lore and Story in the Final Shape will likely lead to the defeat of The Witness. But in the aftermath of that defeat, there will be a significant power vacuum and the question will inevitably arise. Who will replace the Witness? There ...
My condolences
Cringe
As useful as he is for an easy refresher he's a bit of a knob when regarding his responsibility as a content creator specifically focused on the lore
My view point is this, if we have a destiny 3 the enemies are still gonna be relatively the same if not less fallen and cabal with calus gone
Tell you what?
Sol imminent and sol primevil are seen where exactly? mercury and europa?
This
They better ask a question with that sus as fuck entrance
Ghost time
Is there any big mysteries going on in destiny currently? Something we still don't know.
Whatever happens in final shape
Plenty
What's happening with Taox
The Traveler/Veil are still immense mysteries
Who or what the Hezen Lords are
Where the fuck did the Traveler come from
Did that one Precursor that escaped the Witness ritual go anywhere, do anything?
Whoever the Takanome Rangers are
What's the Nine gonna do now?
One precursor escaped the witness ritual?
Will I ever find my self-esteem?? š
Find out in the next episode of dragon ball.
In the Final Shape Collector's Edition, which you can find transcripts of in the pins, we get a record decoded by Eido that supposedly comes from the race that became the Witness
Honestly amazing set up for this punchline 10/10
Season of the wish really was a dragon and a ball
It actually was
Yeah, I knew about the records, i didn't read it fully because I'm a lazy pos but I heard about the witness origins, but I didn't know there might possibly be a precursor still around.
No worries, haven't gotten around to finish Entelechy but yeah, supposedly at the end, it's revealed that one of that race escaped before the leaders of their race went through with the mass ritualistic suicide that allowed them to form the Witness
also, did we get any news on Taox or is she still always escaping at the last second?
Day 1800 of no Taox news.
I hope not.
I find it extremely funny if she's like a child's cartoon villain where she always escape when the hive defeat her newest crazy plan.
If she's still alove unless she's found a way to live forever then she has to have been in stasis for billions of years.
inadvertently creates a galaxy destroying civilisation then leaves
Not the most crazy thing to do in the destiny universe tbh.
Itās canon guardians can give people the bird
(Nighthawk lore)
tru
since she's still krill too
so she would have like 10 years or less to live a natural life
Right
If we do find her alive and she's just been in stasis, it'll be a huge shock for her.
Yeah but she also saw the rise of multiple traveller blessed civilisations and during the golden age human life span was more than tripled so maybe she could have lasted longer.
she might live 30 years instead
And what if krill are like reverse dogs and each krill year is like 10 human years or something.
she'd be the last krill anyways
since all others were forced to eat worms or die
i reckon she's probably in stasis
who knows
I just saw byfs vid on the disciples, and the winterbite one if its true its going to be sick
But nezzy being the successor seems like the strongest possibility
Seeing how strong mf is even after his supposed death
Question of the day
]
Whoās Karl and Olu
Karl is a massive Titan who was hired as a bouncer for a specific bar/tavern
Olu Alderdice is a female guardian known for her inventions like the Mechaneer's Tricksleeves and the Arsenic Lipstick
and this is what I can remember off the top of my head
as for additional details, the establishment Karl is a bouncer for is Seven Stars and Olu (along with her inventions) are banned from there
A question for your question: what am I doing in casual 2 vc
fortnite?
that's what it looks like
can warlocks make objects float like the force?
like does that kind of magic exist or something
Transformers Devestation
You've seen Petra's blade trick, right?
psychic stuff is more Awoken territory
not really sure if that ability is tied to the Light specifically
since Awoken are both Light and Dark in balance
I don't really think that Warlocks can just make objects float around
Ranting
ANOTHER QUESTION time
though according to some lore from Weft and Weave, it seems that Strand is the closest thing Destiny has to the Force
Is triton vice and cryoarachne based on the same creature
not the telekinetic aspect though
why did crow kill the advisor? i keep hearng that at the end of this weeks nightfall strike
Wittle mistake
at the start of Y5, we had Season of the Risen which was about us capturing Lucent Hive lieutenants and scouring their minds for information on their plans
basically, we would sever them from their Light and put them in these tubes in a facility called the Psiorium
then the Psion advisor there would use his psionic abilities to look through these captured Hive's minds to find information
while we are told the process is relatively humane, Crow had many reservations about it
so while we were busy putting an end to the Hive's plans on the Moon, Crow went to the Psiorium to unhook the advisor from the machine since he believed we no longer needed it
however, this resulted in the advisor getting killed in a freak accident (you would think there would be some safety measure for this kind of thing)
so yeah, it was an accident done out of good intentions
@honest snow
jesus
so now lord saiana or whatever his name is took his place?
that gets talked about too when you finish it
and the iron lord guy does talk to you during the strike
kinda but not exactly
so Caiatl was understandably not very happy with Crow
and we were already on thin ice with her since we wiped out a lot of her soldiers at the start of the WQ campaign purely because they were in our way
so she pretty much had Crow marked for death
but before she could go through with it, Saladin intervened offering to take Crow's place in the punishment
Caiatl accepted his offer and decided to force him into her War Council
as Bracus Forge
though Saladin would rise to the rank of Valus pretty quickly
so now he's a high-ranking Cabal military official
ngl that would be dope if it wasnt the result of someone dying
oh that reminds me, are saladin and shaxx friends?
Did Calus adopt ghaul or raise him
Neither
they were well acquainted, but had a massive falling out after Twilight Gap
Saladin ordered Shaxx and his fireteam to fall back, but he refused and kept fighting resulting in a victory
