Being Taken - as in the process of being transported to the Witness and having your form be molded into a "perfect" soldier - modifies the individual so that 1) they have no will of their own, they are now driven by whoever exerts their will onto them; and 2) their abilities and what not become modified, exaggerated, in a way which supposedly improves their offensive capabilities
