thats... actually pretty good, very unusual from the "fanfics" we see, this could actually pass as an actual ghost story

only 2 things of note, they're more nitpicks than criticisms.

1: ghosts are actually able to lift quite a bit, they dont use their shell, but they've been shown to be able to "lift" things with some kind of beam of light, similar to the blue gravity gun in garys mod. Though theres limits there too

2: exos, iirc, do not rust. Their alloy are either extremely resistant to oxidation or outright dont oxidate.

this essentially upgrades the stat it says it will by 1 for each point you upgrade it by

what stat the masterwork button upgrades is always random, varying from item to item

this is a min-max thing only mattering towards the lategame so you should mostly ignore it for weapons and save those materials for something else

on armor it functions the same, the stat it increases being random, though, armor masterworks matters a bit more because armor stats are far more impactful

it’s still better to ignore it for now and save it to masterwork higher tier gear

You're right about that latter point*, the former is more debatable considering the amount of employees who were moved from the Destiny team to the Marathon team and Destiny being sort of sidelined compared to Marathon. It's obviously not the only reason Destiny is in the state its in right now, but it's definitely one of them.

They had a child that was fed scraps and bad food for a while, gave up on them while they tried to conceive another child. It was for long enough the first child starved and wasn't spoken to, they conceived the second child and gave it much more support than their first while still not doing anything to the first. Then the second child fell sick soon after, in almost as bad health as the first until it finally got sicker no matter how much they supported it.

I don't hate Marathon, I hate current day Bungie, but the animosity to Marathon is clearly unfairly there.

I don't remember bc I had swapped protection (first slot) for grace because I was testing to see if a negative health stat was possible out of curiosity (I have 5 health, so I was like...wait, does that just hurt you on orb pickup? lol), and when I went to swap it back to protection I accidentally did so on the 3rd slot

I think it's gotta be mending tho... I'm running GPG + Ascension Hoil/Cyrt build, and that just makes the most sense... Plus I don't think my grenade stat looks any lower than it was (since courage gives +10), but I could be crazy since I don't remember if it was 168 or 173 after I swapped a grenade mod 1 energy for a 3 energy one.

Im def certain it wasn't balance, so I think it must've been mending. I definitely used GPG multiple times in a pinch for instant healing.

honestly though, with all the DR in the build I'm wondering if I should be running courage over mending for anything not high-tier content

definitely stole the hoil/cyrt bit from a prisma hunter guide, but most of it was just personal preference (like the needle over ice shurikens bc I prefer the extra DR vs severed targets to the slow)

I also heard frost armor is in a bad spot rn
