Well, you don't need to. The Collections menu allows you to recreate any non-random-rolled item. So, Ghost Shells, certain static weapons like Exotics, Ships, Sparrows, Emblems.

It will teach you about your class (Warlock, Hunter, or Titan), your subclass (Solar, Void, or Arc), and just generically how to play the game and what to do. As part of that, it should put you into a strike (3 player "dungeon" similar to WoW or FFXIV). Once you finish the quest, you can start to catch up on the story by doing the Timeline missions to play through some older missions to get an understanding on where we are today. After that, you can do the longer story missions by starting with Shadowkeep on the Moon.

And the reason you can't change race is because the game tracks your race pick as a dialogue tag, changing that could lead to unintended bugs and consequences.

Sounds like you might have a closed NAT. If you scroll down to the bottom of your game settings there'll be a section for Stun Test/NAT Type.

There is no "default", it's whatever your network is configured to allow. The ideal is Open. With Moderate, completely empty towers (to be clear, you're looking at the roster tab to confirm it's empty and aren't just using the camera?) shouldn't be a thing but slow MM is not out of the question.

I absolutely forgot what that repeatable mission in the dreadnought was called when that weapon was around, that mission was so fun. I think it had like 3-4 randomized sections. It was when the lodestar was available as part of the free rewards pass last year I believe.

The portal was an attempt to rework how players got into activities. It was widely reviled so it's getting largely undone in the final update. Stats got massively reworked. Power got reset to coincide with the new saga starting.

Send a picture of what you see on the Cross Save page. If what you see is identical to what Squid posted (other than the accounts that were authenticated) you haven't finished setting up Cross Save, which would explain your issues.

I understand the issue you're trying to troubleshoot. Unless "it shows" was you saying the characters are showing up now, at this point you need to post the picture of the Cross Save page because the most likely explanations for what you're running into are from not setting up Cross save or not setting it up correctly.

Drops are not dependent on your equipped gear, and most activities don't care about your power, anyway. So, use what you want. As far as exotic armor goes, if you got them before Edge of Fate came out, then it'll be worth trying to replace them with new drops when you can as any exotic armor that dropped after EoF will get raised to T5 (highest possible stats) on June 9th

Autos, machine guns, SMG, pulse rifles, and linear fusion rifles are my favorite weapons to use.

As far as gear I have mostly 400 ferro armor and contraverse hold gauntlets for the exotic (warlock void grenade build)

I’m open to new options, as well as grinding for more “meta” weapons
