Prismatic Hunter outclasses everything by a landslide

I wouldn’t recommend playing a non prismatic build in PvE

The best builds are going to involve the class exotic item, lucky pants, nighthawk, or fortunes favor

For just about everything but grapple melee you’re going to want as high of a weapons stat as possible

For nighthawk you’ll want 150 super and preferably 150+ weapons

On other builds just go all in one weapons. I like to mix between gunner and specialist because I like having a class stat between 50-70 for hunter so you get constant ascension uptime

If you’re doing grapple melee you’ll want a high grenade stat and melee stat and you can dump everything else

Do people still do desert perpetual? I was away for all of edge of fate and would like to start grinding to get the exotic but I’m worried no one is doing it anymore. And I’m assuming it’s one chance per character per week for the exotic?

Trying to get the intrinsics for Vexcalibur, but it's not letting me through the walls when shielding, saying "subject authority insufficient" (only tested at the first intrinsic location - substrate, have not tried the others). I've reshaped the weapon from my original clear and added M1R Distribution Matrix II and Immovable Refit, and also tried with a newly shaped weapon. I have activated the button a couple of rooms prior. I see in this video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J-hWoYmV408) that their weapon has an Authorization Mod which does not appear to be available for my weapon. Am I missing something?

That stuff is 3 years out of date, from when Avalon was current content.

You just have to run Avalon on Master difficulty or higher for the intrinsics

dont launch them through the quest tab, either go to the locations in the director or do them through the portal

read the quest so you know where to go or track it so it marks whatever activity you need to launch

You don’t have to, it’s the first mission of the latest dlc though. After that there’s just activities and stuff which you can see at the bottom.

Hey all. Quick question. Do i need to do in sword bearer time puzzle in raid quest for the necrocasm cata? Or is collecting enough oversouls enough? I have the necrocasm (years ago) itself but cant remember if i ever did the swordbearer part

doing the swordbearer stuff is for the catalyst, not the gun itself

catalyst is from doing the two time trials in the raid

to activate the catalyst you then need 35 essence

so you need both

In node.Avalon, are the codes supposed to only be cubes and octahedrons? Is the pyramid just there to mess with you?

I am one 'order' away from completing the seasonal 'This Orderly Conduct' challenge. I've done multiple Fireteam Vanguard Alert quickplays but they are not counting towards this challenge... what am i misunderstanding here?

Legend/Master lost sectors were changed on Final Shape launch to drop exotic engrams, which you can take to Rahool and focus stuff you dont own with an Exotic Cipher

Yes i have that seasonal hub, the weekly objective is to "complete orders from the Vanguard". i'm just wondering if Fireteam Vanguard quick plays are supposed to count towards the challenge?... buf not,, which game mode do I enter to complete this weekly 'vangaurd Orders'. challenge?
