all the speed is coming from the sword's acceleration regardless, well and shatterdive also just cancel their animation if your total velocity is not mostly downwards

so you're basically just cancelling the sword attack animation before it slows you down near the end to keep the speed

might also be cancelling since you're considered grounded at the start of the animation and then leaving the ground due to the eager edge speed

yeah dungeons and things still can have "illegal" rolls. pit of heresy and grasp of avarice have higher total stats. although getting the really sought after 25 + 25 armor is nearly impossible without being able to focus seasonal engrams and such

if you dont have the 25 + 25 rolls, the new armor still ends up being on top

with tuning stat you can get 35 weapons and 20 super on the same piece, or vice versa

How hard are Master Lost Sectors supposed to be? Put on a pretty good build that's been performing in a variety of content, dropped in solo just to get one tapped by an Overload before I could get into stun range. Repeated until ran out of tokens and ditched the whole thing.

The equilibrium one is what I'd farm if you don't have any eager sword, it's a bit slower on skates afaik but the light attack gives way more speed than the others which is really really nice for general movement

This is probably a stupid question, but is there any way to earn Techsec armour currently OR to upgrade any armour’s tier?

None of the new set perks have really caught my eye, so I don’t really want to switch.. but the Techsec stuff I’ve got is only tier 1/2

We aren’t sure when the EoF/A&A sets will come back but they are confirmed to be coming back at some point

Upgrading tiers is also unknown at this point but rumored to be happening iirc

And Techsec honestly isn’t that good of a set bonus Renegades has added some S+ set bonuses

Swordmaster and dungeon sets are both solid

Since smoke jumper is unobtainable, you could substitute the set from mythic campaign that give you DR on rocket pulse/sidearm kills

Because you should get a decent chunk of grenade stat too which means more healing nades

Enjoyment. Lightfall and TFS give you subclasses. All legendary campaigns allow you to choose an exotic that launched with said expansion

You’ll start at 10 power but there’s a chest to get you to 300 immediately

From there you’d have to go to 550

It should move pretty fast because if you do drops with bonus activities you’ll be able to get like 6 drops on activity completion and have them all be +2 thru +7 power iirc

The closer you get to 550 the lower increase you’ll get

But it’s engineered to catch people up quickly

I don’t know my honest opinion of destiny right now as we had a rough patch there, but it seems like bungee really learned from the mistakes they made with edge of fate launch they’ve went back and corrected. A large majority of those mistakes renegades was a very solid DLC and was a lot of fun to play and I think that they are trending in the right direction.

Over the last two years, we’ve had the absolute best raids and dungeons this studio has ever put out

And I think there’s a lot to look forward to in the future

I think we should all hope for marathon to have a successful launch and healthy player base because the more money that goes into marathon means the more money that flows in the Bungie and I fully trust that bungee will be able to properly manage both games at the same time

Yes, the core of this game has shifted tremendously since he last played. I would definitely watch some videos about the edge of fate and all the things that changed.
