Everyone's Power was reset with the new expansion. It basically only matters for the Portal system. That is the main way to gain power and also to gain high stat gear now, but the rest of the game don't care.

The only reason to use health stat is in pvp because 101-200 health affects Regen delay like recovery did

The ability related stats are designed to be about as good as the old t10 stats at 70 points cooldown-wise

Over 100 you get significant multiplicative damage increases to those abilities

200 grenade ups grenade damage by 65%

200 melee is 30% damage, 200 super is 35% super damage

Class ability gives you a giant overshield since no damage

Weapons stat only increases damage on basic enemies and improves handling/reload from 1-100 while 101-200 increases damage in pvp and against bosses

It sounds bad but they removed resilience so the weapons stat is kind of the inverse of resilience

Everyone is t10 resilience at baseline now and 200 weapons is only 5% damage in pvp

So you have to dump into it like 160 weapons or more at times to be able to shift ttk on some weapons

It's similar to how some weapons would kill people under a certain resilience much faster but instead you have to sack ability cooldown or ability damage increases instead to make that happen

Ergo sum is a reward for unlocking all the subclass aspects, and the micah10 quests are how you start getting microcosm and one of the requirements to get khvostov

So you're not getting the much easier first two encounters to ease you into it

No, it means there's benefits to using it this season. Using featured gear gives you a bonus to your score in Portal Activities (though that is currently enabled for all players regardless of equipped gear due to how much Bungie has pissed off players), and using featured weapons and armor gives a small bonus to damage dealt and reduction to damage received. Not enough to make it actually-mandatory to use only featured stuff, but a nice little bonus to try to incentivize you

Is there any kind of scorch and ignition build that is end game viable for hunter? Using one I thought was alright and I can only really clear a measly 46k dmg per rallying to the flag and going until I am empty in the shooting range

Weapon wise on the ignition side youre probably gonna go with Polaris Lance or Devils Ruin

If you want the ignitions on clear then just swap on over to prismatic and get a class item with spirit of caliban so your punch combo ignites on every kill
if you want it for a target thatll survive a x3 combo blow you might wanna look for something else
