One mission near the end requires other players. It is matchmade, but often won't fill, but eventually it will launch regardless if left for long enough. It also technically isn't part of the campaign proper.

It's less about what class and more about what weapons you use and how you play.

Ideally you should be playing through K1 on Hive day or Caldera on Eliksni day (which luckily alternate so one should be avalible everyday). Both missions are relatively easy to ignore the enemies in the first area and complete the objective to move on. Farm your bonus objective in the 2nd area, then move onto the boss. Runs should not be taking longer than 5 minutes.

For loadouts, if you're comfortable with double special, run Mint + Choir and an Eager Sword. Otherwise you could run New Malpais + any primary instead.

You will earn a 411 T4 at B+, the A reward might be higher. You can check by just increasing the modifiers to A, then putting them back down for your run.

Note that doing the B+ trick can sometimes be fiddly with how much you earn from the bonuses. To guarantee the A reward, you'd want the reward bar to be halfway between B+ and A, if it was less you could occasionally fall short of A by a few points.

They did change some of the reward point bonuses, so that threshold might be slightly different now, but it's pretty easy to test for. Just go run a mission and increase the Banes if you don't get an A

Mint has been the go-to for the Kinetic slot, though the new Exotic New Malpais has been very strong too. Choir is good in the energy slot if you're comfortable on double special, otherwise use whatever primary you want. Heavy is usually just an Eager Sword for neutral, or Hezen / Outrageous for general damage situations.

I haven't run Desert yet so I can't give you a clean answer. Outbreak and Thunderlord were popular due to their fast super generation letting you spam them against the bosses. Lord of Wolves has been the meta DPS option for nearly a year, and despite the "nerf" is apparently still putting up the same pre-patch damage numbers. Otherwise I'm assuming people are using Outrageous or Hezen in conjunction with Mint, but again I don't have any first-hand experience yet. Too busy farming haha

why does one do more damage with no damage perks then the other wil also no damage perks

My go-to for solo ops was Locked Loadout, No HUD, Brawn, both Starvation banes, and whatever +20 bane was least offensive. I was using Getaway Artist with Mint + Choir + an Eager Sword for simplicity.

With the point change, I have been running Touche instead of Locked and just got replaced Getaway with a legendary armor. Still get sub-5min times and A rank every time

Hm, power advantage typically isn't a thing, though, so the fact you're on GM and not ultimate makes that also-odd.

Maybe try dropping it to Normal? At that point even if power advantage is a thing, your guns would be so much higher as to make it irrelevant

2. You ended up hitting an appropriate score but somehow still got screwed

I would also say to try literally any pinnacle other than Encore in case it's just Encore that's bugged.

At this point it has to be some sort of scoring issue with the game. Because I've tried killing all champs, completed with minutes to spare, no deaths, delta -40, literally everything that will get me an A grade and always end up getting B+.

The whole point of the screenshot is to verify the grade you're projected with the actual fireteam. That's why the modifier screen, the solo screen, and the fireteam of irrelevant randos aren't useful.

Again, I'd also suggest trying literally anything other than Encore.

It's not bad. The hardest part is learning it once, then it's easy to do.

The enemies aren't that hard, the challenge is just communicating well. Make sure you and your partner are both using the same callouts for everything before starting

The actual puzzles are pretty easy too, again, it's just communicting that makes it tricky

Don't worry about the timer, you gain time as you complete each puzzle. Slow is smooth, smooth is fast.

Right now I’ve been power grinding lately and I’m currently 288 with a drop of 292 gear from activities. I was debating on doing solo ops for 1 drop + bonus or onslaught which would take 30+ mins but drop 4 292 drops. Does anyone have an opinion on which would be beneficial more

the portal version only drops a single item on completion (which is 2 encounters)

its a waste of time to even do the portal version in the first place

Im not intrested in doin the portal version atm, unless its focus on the mint, but I cannot se any good reason for it being loocked behind the campaign when it wont drop any dungeon loot, wich is the whole thing with the dungeon.
