Well, normally I'd suggest working on getting your Resilience stat to 100, which literally every PvE build should do - but armour stats are also being totally reworked on expansion launch

Check out your armour mods. Being able to generate Orbs is always useful, and you can use mods to make those Orbs give you health, more weapon damage, and generate more grenade energy.

Masterworking Armour depends on the stats of the armour. Normally we'd be looking for 62+ stat total in spikes like Resilience/Recovery and Discipline, but as I said earlier, Armour is getting a total rework. Just bump it up enough to fit some suitable mods.

Depends on the mods you're using, I suppose. That's all the upgrades provide - more mod energy.
Masterworking provides +2 to all stats, but that requires an Ascendant Shard.

It's one of the few we have estimates for, and only estimates because Bungie doesn't publish drop rates. But it's like close ish to 2/3 for Master. In practice, this doesn't mean that 2 out of every three runs you will get an engram but rather that for each run you it'll roll a 2/3 chance. I think that's how it goes.

It'll appear at one point during the season for Bright Dust but that I think that point has passed already. It may appear there again in the future but who knows. You should be able to get it randomly from a Bright Engram at any point though too.

Not that I'm aware of? Closest I can do is the Exotic Availability List I made which'll tell you how you can get each one and if Xur will sell it. Then you can cross reference the ones you have with the ones Xur sells.
