mechanically yes. for raids you are fighting on-power enemies and very little if not no champions at all

gms are filled with champions and enemies much higher than your light level, meaning they deal more damage and take less

this weeks is one of my least favorites solely because of its boss but generally its a pretty medium tier gm

regardless you should go into gms with someone who knows what theyre doing and have a solid build as well

Why is X not dropping?
It's RNG. No, the game is not bugged for you, or broken, it's simply bad luck.

• Bungie does not publish drop rates.
• We don't know how many estimated runs it will take for a specific item to drop.
• We do not know how much drop-rate-boosting triumphs contribute either, since we don't know the base drop rate.
• Runs are all separate environments. A 1/3 chance does not mean you get the loot you want one out of three times, it just means there is that percentage of chance whenever you run the activity that you get said loot.
• Perks are not weighted. All weapons drop with their perks at the same rate.

Builds make it easier. Storm's Keep Titan, Getaway Warlock, or Gifted Hunter are common in GMs because of their survivability. The main thing other than survival is having weapons that can stun whatever champs appear in that mission. Tinasha's is the easy go-to for many people, but if you don't have it, just have your Kinetic and Energy slot each take care of a different type. Play safe, pick off as many enemies as you can, focus on stunning/killing champions without overextending.

Depends on what you're after.

1. If you're chasing the seasonal red borders, doing the harder Breach Executable and grabbing all the Radiolite samples between zones nets you several rewards chests, bonus items from turning in samples, and Echoes engrams you can focus at Failsafe.
2. If you just want Echoes Engrams, you can earn them quite quickly by farming whatever the quickest featured raid encounter. You'll often get one per clear, and many of these encounters only take a minute or two, which is much quicker than seasonal methods like Breach or Battlegrounds. The bonus of this method is that you can also farm raid red borders at the same time.
3. If you're specifically after the reprised Dawn weapons, you can farm the first half of Enigma Protocol for a guaranteed double-perk roll and sometimes a bonus Echoes engram that you can focus at Failsafe. Hunters and Warlocks can skate to skip major chunks and finish a run in roughly 5 min, Titans will only be a minute or two slower per run. You can do this solo or with friends, personally I enjoy solo farming it because the flow gets comfy. Just be sure to not actually finish the full encounter and use the reset button on the wall after the chest to continue farming.

Div is a debuff, so you can potentially deal more damage with it. At the start of the season, it had a crazy interaction with Queenbreaker but that was patched.

Cool, I hope you enjoy it! Just note is very easy to change between which subclass (Arc, Void, Solar, Stasis, etc) you play as and can even do it during combat, so don't feel like you have to be stuck on Stasis if it seems unfun. Additionally, while it's a little work to replay the campaigns and unlock subclasses on another character, you can share quite a lot between your characters (including weapons), so it's not that difficult to play both Hunter and Warlock at the same time

Personally I play Warlock and have some great memories playing on Stasis

To get exotics you've never unlocked, you have to rank Rahool to max, reset him, then use his Novel Decryption to focus for the Exotic. Otherwise you can use Focuses Decryption for new rolls on Exotics you've already unlocked.

You can also farm GMs for an RNG chance at high roll exotics.

However, the entire system is changing on the 15th and stats will be very different. Unless you're prepping for the Day 1 raid, I wouldn't stress too much
