If you have good rolled armor (66-68) it'll be equivalent to Tier 3 armor. Tier 5 being the max and will not be generally obtainable out of the gate.

The higher tier rewards (weapons will also have tiers starting w/ EoF) are dependent on doing difficult activities with additional modifiers to increase the difficulty further. Most of those activities will require Power that likely won't be possible week one or two except for folks like streamers who are able to actually play the game like their day job.

Velocity Baton (Void area denial GL) - Unrelenting/Demo + Attrition orbs or Repulsor Brace + Destab Rounds
Chill Inhibitor (Stasis Heavy rapid-fire GL) - Envious Arsenal + BnS (has some other rolls but this is the one most people chase)
Pyroelectric Propellant (Arc Adaptive Auto) - Eddy Current/Attrition orbs + Jolting feedback

Baton and Chill Inhibitor are arguably of higher priority due to their place in meta (and how they stack up vs competitors) but pyroelectric is probably the best arc auto we have, so thats something worth keeping in mind

It's RNG. No, the game is not bugged for you, or broken, it's simply bad luck.

• Bungie does not publish drop rates.
• We don't know how many estimated runs it will take for a specific item to drop.
• We do not know how much drop-rate-boosting triumphs contribute either, since we don't know the base drop rate.
• Runs are all separate environments. A 1/3 chance does not mean you get the loot you want one out of three times, it just means there is that percentage of chance whenever you run the activity that you get said loot.
• Perks are not weighted. All weapons drop with their perks at the same rate.

If he can find a partner to farm dual destiny with than sure but in my own experience farming the pale heart after the drop rate change was trash, the problem not everyone is willing to do dual destiny anymore because it requires communication from both players further more the drop rates from pale heart in my own experience was 1 class item every other overthrow completion some times maybe 2 or 3 so personally I believe its better to wait for xur to come around with them and cap out strange coins until he does have them

1. Your quests tab for Legacy: A Rising Chorus
2. Nessus for a mission called Meteoric
3. Europa for a mission called Na-Veskirisk

A Rising Chorus is the Echoes quest. Meteoric is the intro mission for Echoes. Na-Veskirisk in the intro mission for Revenant. There's a bug where Echoes stuff is often blocked behind Revenant's intro, so if out of what I've listed Na-Veskirisk is the only thing showing you'll need to complete Na-Veskirisk and the Revenant Act I Prologue quest you get after completing it. Then one of the other two items should be visible

In order to earn class exotic items, you need to have completed the mission "Dual Destiny", which you unlock by doing a series of tasks in the Pale Heart. I'd highly recommend watching a video on how to unlock the mission. Note that while you can unlock the mission by yourself, you'll need a 2nd person to actually do the mission with.

Once you finish Dual Destiny, you'll get your first Exotic Class item. To farm more of them, you'll have three choices:

• Run Dual Destiny again, this is one of the fastest methods
• Complete Overthrows in the Pale Heart, very chill
• Turn in Strange Coins to Xur in the Tower on the weekends, which feels free since you tend to earn the coins over time for other things you're already doing

However, the very first one has to come from Dual Destiny.

They changed how it works a while back. It used to be that the random world chests throughout the Pale Heart would have an increasing chance to find Exotic Class items as you opened them. However, people would just use macros/botting programs to farm chests for them and ignored the actual content in the zone. So Bungie flipped it. You can still very rarely find them in the world chests, but now completing Overthrows gives an increasing chance of finding them in Overthrow chests.

It's RNG. No, the game is not bugged for you, or broken, it's simply bad luck.

• Bungie does not publish drop rates.
• We don't know how many estimated runs it will take for a specific item to drop.
• We do not know how much drop-rate-boosting triumphs contribute either, since we don't know the base drop rate.
• Runs are all separate environments. A 1/3 chance does not mean you get the loot you want one out of three times, it just means there is that percentage of chance whenever you run the activity that you get said loot.
• Perks are not weighted. All weapons drop with their perks at the same rate.

For the future, Dual Destiny gives you two for your first clear each week and is relatively quick to complete. Strange coins are pretty easy to farm, especially if you're grinding something else like GM Nightfalls, which makes it feel like you're earning free class items on top of the normal rewards.

Also, remember you can attune your rolls with Ghost in the Pale Heart to give you a better chance of getting one you want

Legendaries have a specific rotation, but that sort of farming is extremely niche to the point where only you can answer whether a day's pool is worthwhile

I'm with you, I just farm GMs for Adepts and use my Vanguard engrams on Cynosure (Envious Arsenal + Elemental Honing) and Wicked Sister (Envious Arsenal + Bait and Switch)

Elemental honing worth using non-prismatic? I don't want to buy TFS full price so I don't have prismatic but I saw a vid where they said honing is still pretty good even if you can only proc 3 stacks (subclass/at least 2 diff element weapons) because it lasts so long but I just unga bunga envious/bait and switch

Joxer's Longsword is a good void pulse, especially if you like heavy burst. Riptide with Chill Clip is a classic, though a lot less desirable with Tinasha's around. Deadlock is a monster if you play PVP. Otherwise go for that juicy Riposte

Cyno can't roll Bait and Switch, so you kinda have to work with Elemental Honing haha

Hezen is still the best option though, and Cold Comfort is right behind it. Cyno is just a nice option to dump engrams into

I levelled an account to play gambit on when I was bored of playing gambit on the main account

Syntho from ikora new light quest, then get parasite from wq campaign, then use that to farm atraks for crafted succession. After that I'd run GM's for a slammer and pour and remaining engrams into xenoclast

If you've never gotten any version of The Slammer, then there is no other way to acquire it this season.

The Slammer (Adept) has been totally removed and will be no longer available. It will likely be unavailable in the future seeing as we're moving to the Tier system.

If you have previously obtained any normal or Adept roll, you can still acquire additional rolls of the normal weapon through Zavala.

I can't verify it right now, but I believe you can obtain old nightfall weapons from Zavala with Vanguard Engrams in his Legacy page. The Slammer will likely be found there once Edge of Fate releases. This will only be for the normal version, Adept has been removed.

Also, you do not need The Slammer. Cold Steel is a bit of a gimmick and just helps give an Eager sword a bit more unnecessary utility. Falling Guillotine is just as good for skating.

Ehhh yeah for the moment. It's not like Adept really made the weapon any better. Can max out ammo with just the normal Backup Mag mod, so the Adept mod is pretty useless. The bonus stats don't really do much for it either. Two perks in the 3rd column is pretty pointless as well since most will just leave Eager on. So the only real difference is the "(Adept)" tag

Also, it's technically the 2024 Moments of Triumph and unlocks the MMXXIV title, which is 2024. MMXXV would be 2025 haha.

Searching for info online regarding it is really strange. Answers all over the place. Some people saying it ended back in May, others saying that was only for buying the physical pins from the Bungie shop, and other still saying actually it was June 10th and not May 6th. I looked through the TWABs and couldn't find it mentioned anywhere, so to my knowledge you can still earn it.
