Not sure exactly what you're asking haha. If you're asking how to focus for an Exotic Helmet, you can use Rahool's Precision Decryption, which costs an Exotic Engram and some Ascendant Shards to do. If you want an Exotic Helmet you don't already own, you'll need to max out Rahool's rank and reset him to gain access to Novel Decryption, which will let you focus any Exotic for your class, which costs an Exotic Engram and an Exotic Cipher.

Why is X not dropping?
It's RNG. No, the game is not bugged for you, or broken, it's simply bad luck.

• Bungie does not publish drop rates.
• We don't know how many estimated runs it will take for a specific item to drop.
• We do not know how much drop-rate-boosting triumphs contribute either, since we don't know the base drop rate.
• Runs are all separate environments. A 1/3 chance does not mean you get the loot you want one out of three times, it just means there is that percentage of chance whenever you run the activity that you get said loot.
• Perks are not weighted. All weapons drop with their perks at the same rate.
