With the exception of some silly roll tech, you can do everything on the keyboard, and I find the general inaccuracy of the joystick annoying. With the keyboard, I always know I am only sending the inputs I am actually pressing.

Scott Buckley is a composer I'm a fan of as well; he writes public domain music so I hear his stuff in the wild all the time; he is a kind of "cinematic" style composer where his songs tell stories
