Yes!!! I've learned that people really appreciate knowing that someone cares about them enough to sit down and write a letter for them, whether physical or digital

Knowing that someone took time out of their day just to show they care about you can be taken a REALLY long way

The person I've been writing them to has really appreciated it and had told me that it means a lot to them knowing that I took time out of my day to sit down and write to them, and to take the time to word it properly

The closest thing I've played to an arena shooter (I THINK) is Rivals on Roblox so

Well, it's a specific style of shooter, where you all at the same moment spawn into a enclosed map with some basic equipment and in the map you can find at specific pre set locations extra equipment, be it health upgrades, other weapons, etc. that you loose when you die/at the end of the round.

It supports a wide range of game modes death match being the most popular.

It's extremely fun if you know what you're doing, cause you all start off with the same equipment, so it's all skill.

And very common in arena shooters is a fast and very fun movement.

For my project (I sadly don't have a video I can show, cause I ain't home currently), I am very happy with the movement system and have designed a weapon set I am happy with.

I also already implemented some simple multiplayer, tho I will probably recode it later with a more careful implementation.

Multiplayer arena shooters are no longer popular because there haven't been good triple a games of that genre. If memory serves, the last UT game was pretty bad and Epic Games now have a gold mine in the form of Fortnite, so there's no need for another UT game in the near future. Quake is also pretty dead as a franchise, Quake Champions completely failed.
At least we have Doom Eternal and Ultrakill that are very popular despite being singleplayer games

The Unreal Tournament beta was pretty good, but the ganra itself has a few "flaws".

It's fundamentally incompatible with consoles for one.

Bernard twas a simple wayfarer, but instead of paying for travels and possessions, he either stole or decided to act charismatic and charming in order to get things for being "good", and on his adventures Bernard met Ebon (party member) and they travelled for a while before splitting off, then both got teleported to the realm of the campaign

...and I should probably ask if you're using the '24 rule book or the '14 rule book...

We are using the '24 book and the DM made a homebrew thing to go along with the campaign (mechanics sheet)

As for patrons... A patron (sometimes patrons but I havent encountered that yet) is most of the time a god-like being (or just some powerful being, not always godlike) that for some reason gives you your magic powers! The most common interpretation of a warlock is something along the lines of: "I signed a deal with the devil." or "I sold my soul to the devil." But this only really applies to the more 'hellish' sub-classes of the Warlock.
But you are playing a Celestial Warlock! So your patron is some dazzling celestial being!
Now I kind of recommend working with your DM on this but you can either:
-Choose a patron from the setting you are in. (dunno if youre playing a custom setting or are in good ol' Faerun)
-Create a patron! (this is something you should work with your DM on so they are aware of whatever godlike entity youre creating and throwing into the world)
With that you should also keep in mind why is your patron giving you magical powers?
Maybe your goals align with theirs?
Maybe your patron simply likes you/takes you as a pet or toy/loves you, so they want you to stay alive?
Maybe you give them something in return for the magic? Coins, sandwitches every full moon? Your most prized possesion, artifacts, knowledge?
Or something else?
Or a horryfing mix of all of the above?
(I really apologise for the amount of information in this. I could talk about this for hours.)

I should probably explain, the DM homebrewed the entire landscape we are playing in, almost the entire world is homebrewed, the only thing that remains is like... the core things of D&D, like sheets and rolls and spells etc.
But yea! I need to talk to my DM and figure out whichever god of the lands would best fit Bernard, or if I can just like... be a stargazer and have that work somehow

The mechanics are... kinda complicated, but I can try to explain
Shoes are independent and are generally the most useless, but there's certain types of shoes that do different things depending on the shoe, Beasts are just companions that aid you when you are near critical health or critically fail a roll, and heart words are basically just you get a bonus whenever you are doing something that alligns with your heart words, in my case anything Industrial

Sorcerers have good damage, but very low survivability. The only remotely tanky character in there is the Barbarian.
Also, is it intentional that they have 5 charisma casters?
