you can farm it on lvl 1 and it gives immediate access to firearms and weapons +4 lvls higher than your survivor lvl

nah, if I'm lvl 1 I just loot the supply chest close to the prison boat, get flares, craft bow, kill the first goons in prison with your bow, grab their rifle, craft the assault rifle you prefer, use inmate's kiss etc as your melee weapon, and you can just kill virals etc in the volatile room while using the flares to keep volatiles away while you lockpick. for demolishers, your assault rifle should have enough ammo to take them out at final fight.

after that you have shotgun ammo from the armory, so the next runs are considerably faster

only the first run without the shotgun is moderately challenging, after that it's lowkey boring

dont forget the infinite lockpick respawn and the prison canteen tables

There is "cross-generation" play, however. I believe someone on, say, PS4 can play with someone on PS5, if the games out on both.

This game's PvP is hard, but it is indeed fun. When I started, I couldn't win against any night hunters. Even new ones were too tough. Now I can win against some Apex Predators.
-# [NOTE]: Granted, I did start with controller, which is crippling. I only started using mouse and keyboard a few months later.

I recommend using the quick-select bindings instead of the weapon/item wheel. Helped me be a lot quicker and more deliberate with item-switching. You go to keybinds then press Q 4 times to see 'em.

I'll have to try that quick-select bindings method next time. I was using the weapon wheel this time around. I actually LOST quite a few times because I wasn't fast enough with that weapon wheel. I used a combination of zaids flares, uv flashlight, & gold weapons to kill it. all though I purposely fought out in the open for a challenge, I did my best when fighting in an enclosed area with a ceiling so at most there were only 2 points of entry.

But it’s doable in a normal run if you play everything

Especially if you do an all achievements run you will reach legend 250

Playing at night the entire run will significantly boost the rate as well

If you start the run at night for all missions then you reach legend faster which means you have more missions and tasks to do when you get to legend
