As Dusk Falls, you try to get some sleep, when you hear distant screams that end as abruptly as they started. Screams that seem to repeat multiple times prevent you from getting much rest.
You decide to take a peek outside, where you see bodies lying on the ground dried from any blood whatsoever.
You make haste for the bookshelf looking for a shelf labelled "Darkest Hour". Once you have finally located it, you find two items: a vial with liquid, and a book...
What will you do, will you forsake your humanity and join the condemned, or would you rather fight to keep your humanity till the very end?
As always, the Choice is yours, but beware - you should be swift with your decision, or else the choice won't be yours anymore...

After a long few nights of the hunters bulwark defenses, they were soon overran by the sheer amount of monsters. Most succumbing to the horde, whilst a few hunters remained they were no match for them. Among the horde one monster in particular stood supreme over the rest of the monsters, the werewolves. They used their sheer overwhelming strength to harbor their own guild, and stand above the rest. This victory of course, put an end to the reign of terror the vampires had for the past years. ~@ocean wave, the Chronicler.

Cooldowns:
- You can attack fighter once in 30 seconds
- You can claim bonus once per 60 seconds
Drop Chances:
- Bonus has 0.15% chance to spawn per message
- Bonus has 0.75% chance to spawn per message
Damage/Bonus behaviour:
- Default damage is always 1
- Bonus can be between 1-5 per drop. Stacks.
- Bonus you get with current boss only applies to current boss.
Channels:
- Neither fighter nor bonus will spawn in #🤖︱bot-commands
Fighters:
- New fighter enter the roaster every 12h
Commands:

You can access brand new minigame and event commands using /valentines.
Rewards this time around will be in a form of additional XP!
- If you manage to kill Valentine's boss, killer will receive 10k XP bonus
- Otherwise person with most damage (only to today's boss, not counting the ones from previous week, so leaderboard doesn't reflect it) will receive 5k XP bonus.
- Remaining people in top 10 may or may not receive a bonus as well, though it'll be much lower.
- Same goes for Valentine's hunt (which also doesn't have a dedicated leaderboard, so you are all competing in a dark)
And if you manage to end up in a relationship during the event, You and Your second half will receive 2x XP boost (while you are in a relationship, so it better be symbiotic rather than toxic)
If you need to find That Special Someone™️, you can use a Sparker Card matchmaking system! It allows you to create your own profile, and swap right/left, other profiles. /valentines matchmaking for related commands.

- If you have above half of top 1 amount of eggs rounded down (currently top 1 has a bit over 1000 so the requirement is 500), to qualify for 20 XP you have to be in top 5.

Wondering what you can do with 🦴 Fear you've collected so far?
Wonder no more and Summon an army! Use them to Scare your opposition out of their Fear or Raid bosses to gain even more Fear, and once you get bored with your old Imps.... just Sacrifice them! You'll Reinforce your Fear this way and land yourself a spot on a leaderboard!

Few things to note:
- You can't scare people if their army is too powerful or too weak (same applies to bosses). Looking for a fair fight? Investigate possible target armies with

/halloween fear carve, this will increase your protection against being scared, however it'll also affect your position on leaderboard so choose wisely - This is unrelated to monster/hunter minigame

City survived past few nights without much bloodshed as Monsters were too focused fighting each other for control.
Few brave Hunters took advantage of their enemy disorganization and prepared defense so great that creatures of night stood no chance to claim more territory and ended up being contained. Neither monster managed to take more than others and even combined, humans prevailed and outnumbered monsters in the final stand overthrowing their years long reign of terror
You've bullied me to end event day earlier, but proper ending was meant for today anyway!
In any case, Halloween event is over. Monsters tied 
So kudos to people responsible for achieving such state of things Special shout out to @nimble tundra for coordinating it.
I guess... congratulations to all of the Hunters are in order for keeping monster numbers in check, as well as anyone and everyone who participated.

Hello everyone!
For almost 6 years I’ve been on this server, seeing it grow from just a few thousand members to now hundreds of thousands, as well as turning from a community server into an official one. It’s been a hell of a journey, and I wanna thank everyone involved in it.
I’m saying this now because I’m announcing my departure from the moderation team. I believe this will be happening officially tomorrow.
As I said before, I’ve been at it for quite a while now. And while it’s been a blast, I think now’s the best time to give moderation a rest and just actually chill as a regular member.
I wanna give a shout-out to everyone in the mod team and the peeps at Techland for running this place, and wish the best for them (except for @zenith vale feel free to keep bullying him 
)
Not much else to say, other than thank you guys for all the good times I’ve had with this community. I’ll be sitting back and enjoying the ride with you guys now.

The year nears it's end, and so is my journey with this server. So this is probably the last event I'm running here
When I joined DL server, there was Brecken bot that might have inspired me to make my own one, as it meant that someone made a custom bot for a community. Even though later on I've found out that bot was just a webhook x)
Thanks to all the OG staff that were here as they allowed me to bring my own bot as a modmail, despite how crude rag-tag it was back then. If not for that, I probably wouldn't stick around that long or be working on this bot all these nights.
After roughly 5 years as a member of mod team here and almost as much of developing Hakon, I feel like it's the moment to turn the pages and close this chapter, hence why I'll be stepping down as an Administrator.
Thank you for giving me the opportunity to work on the bot here, to release these minigames, for your participation in server events and for providing feedback on them. It really meant something to me and I really appreciate everyone that did. I hope you've enjoyed these events just as much as I did making them.

Hello everyone, we'd like to make an announcement regarding the leaving of 2 of our staff members Dan and BladeMaster. These two have been monumental in not only creating this server but also shaping this community here.
Dan originally created the subreddit and this Discord server over 2 years ago, and has since had the Herculean task of running them. BladeMaster has created so many steam guides, provided help in-game with people and overall has provided so much support for this community until now.
Both of these guys have moved on with their lives, and from all the staff team we wish them good luck on their next ventures.
What does that mean for this server? Rest assured that everything will remain the same, and that nothing dramatic will happen. In the wake of Dan's absence, he left the responsibility of ownership to myself; and I will try to the best of my ability to fill his shoes. And knowing that I have an amazing team with my side I'm sure we'll be fine. Feel free to ask more about this in #⭐︱general if you have any questions about Dan and Blade.
In regards to the subreddit, @whole plank will be in main control over it, so if you have any questions regarding it feel free to ask her.

Dear Dying Light fans,
The Developers at the Dying Light Developer Tools Discord felt that the workshop has been a little neglected recently, so we decided to start doing map competitions to get some creativity going again. After an isolated test run last month, we think we streamlined the competition enough to involve the main Dying Light Discord server.
You can compete by creating a custom map using the Dying Light Developers Tools and posting the map with '2019 PVP Arena Map Contest (insert map name here)'. Although there might not be an official prize, the community does benefit by having new, fun, varied, and most importantly well made maps to play with again.

This is forwarded from a user in #⭐︱general, and is a concern that everyone who uses Discord should be aware of:
Discord recently introduced logging in via QR code, which is pretty handy when the desktop version randomly decides to log you out.
However, as you may have noticed, a small exploit exists, so I'll say this upfront:
NEVER and I mean NEVER scan a QR code for Discord-related gifts or prizes, including Nitro giveaways, through the Discord mobile app, EVER. You are NOT redeeming the "prize", you're giving someone FULL access to your account, regardless of 2FA. Until Discord adds a notice to their app, you'll have to be extremely cautious about this.
PSA if you moderate a server: If you see someone posting a QR code in your server and claiming it gives Nitro, DELETE IT.
Be sure to spread the word to everyone you know. This is a serious flaw with Discord's login system, and there's probably a lot of people losing accounts to this scam.

(Requirements for stickers are that it has to be below 500KB, be in png, apng or lottie file format. Recommended Dimensions are 320x320. Additionaly each Sticker is required to have correspond with unicode [default] emote, therefore, please send us an emote with which it would be associated with)

Halloween minigame just received an update:
Under messages there will be new collectibles in form of Halloween Treats: Candies as well as Tricks: Fear, which you can collect by using candies.
These Fear points you can spent by summoning entities using /halloween fear summon to fight for you in your Fearsome Army, which you can later on send to another user and gain even more Fear (Also lower Fear owned by attacked user) using /halloween fear scare.
You can also Carve pumpkins you have collected over course of October for some additional defence points against enemy army using /halloween fear carve
(Please note: carving your pumpkins will lower the amount you own which in turn will affect your position in pumpkin leaderboard)
You can also check leaderboard for owned candies & fear via /leaderboard event

Halloween event is now concluded and ended. On the graph above you see how the fight was evolving over course of event and Looks like Vampires won again (And looks like you all let them... again...), second year in a row!
Congratulations to winners, traitors and everyone else that participated
To summarize this event, there were basically 3 minigames running this year and here's little recap of them:

Hunts:
Longest one that ran for entire month, about basically hunting certain reactions. Started with simple 🎃 Pumpkins, later on joined by 💀 Trick or 🍬 Treats finishing off with Moka Treat's. -
Biting:
Main event that lasted 3 weeks about changing colours of chats by "fighting" for own faction by either biting others as Monsters, or disenchanting monsters back into humans as Hunters. -
Fear:
Bit experimental one that lasted around a week about "scaring" others to gain additional points and create bigger army which could later on be also used to raid bosses.

You can throw snowballs ❄️ at someone that recently send a message in channel using /snowball throw ☃️
Commands from last year also made a return under /christmas which allow sending presents to others via /christmas gift 🎁 as well as /christmas cookie! 🍪
you can also view leaderboards for most hits with snowballs, most send gifts and mostly targeted people for snowballs using /leaderboard event 📋

I heard something recent about account hijacking links that appear very harmless, e.g. an image that failed to embed.

As we're getting closer I'd like to tackle a Dying Light 2 spoilers topic.
As some of you noticed, we created a new channel - #dl2-spoilers - this will be a channel for discussion about quests, choices, and lore of the game, while #💬︱dying-light-2 will remain as a spoiler-free channel.
Every single message on #dl2-spoilers will have to be started with /spoiler command, otherwise it will get removed. Spoiling anything in #💬︱dying-light-2 channel results in instant ban, with no way of appeal
Additional information, things that will come to server but there's no ETA yet:
- We will be resetting Mee6 roles, adding some new ranks - everyone who will reach lvl 20 before the reset will be rewarded with Veteran role, this role will be exclusive and there will be no way of obtaining it in the future
- Roles rework - I want each role to be meaningful, so roles will be reworked and they will be obtained in a manner similar to game achievements
- Rules rework - I will rework the rules, add some new points and increase the transparency in the rules
- Self adding voice channels - We may need more voice channels for DL2 coop, every user will be able to create their own temporary voice channel
- Discord exclusive contest with a gaming PC (POWERED BY RTX 3090 👀 ) as reward
