Do volatiles have a specific limited respawn ability?

I kill a volatile and another pops up right near where the previous one died

I do that 3-4 times and then no more volatiles spawn for the entire night

For that specific location

I believe so, it’s not limited to 3-4 though. If your in a level 4 chase a whole lot of volatiles will spawn, but if you stay in one spot and kill enough of them virals included eventually they’ll stop spawning long enough to lose the chase but if you run around a bit more will start to spawn in. Works similarly in The Beast if you keep killing them in one spot they’ll stop spawning but if you keep moving while killing them they’re spawn infinitely

It’s a lot more noticeable on The Beast though because bodies don’t respawn until you get a certain distance away from them so after you kill a bunch and have a huge pile of infected no more will spawn til those bodies despawn and you have to be away from them for that to happen, I imagine it’s a preventative measure to slow down farming them as well as maybe there’s some kind of limit to how many infected can be in one place at one time without the game bugging out.

It’s becoming harder and harder to find good co op games as time goes on, back to back I’m running into people using glitched weapons or straight up cheating 🤦🏻‍♂️

I’ve been finding a good amount, might be because I’m on PS my only issue is the people I join. I don’t like playing with people using glitches or exploits. I just got out of a game where we had to climb to the top of a radio tower and dude literally floated up there like it was nothing and acted like everything was normal so I had to nope out of there but most commonly ill join a low level who sends a distress signal so I think I’m joining someone who needs help only to find out they’re using 1 shot weapons so they clearly don’t need help

I’ve done that once, it was a lot of fun but the guy I played with isn’t into story games like I am I had to basically force him to play this one, he’s all about multiplayer and PvP games

Switch the Colour mode then. It can lighten up the scene. I play in Gritty mode, so it gets even darker. Pitch-black nights in nightmare mode. Normal or Balanced mode might work for you tho.
Anyways, in any mode, Flashlight emits too strong light, but the light cone is narrow compared to DL1 or DLTB.

Also, there is no Flashlight inertia in DL2

The Infected blades blueprint was bugged from the start, but there is a way to obtain it. While having infected blades in your inventory, visit any of the survivors' craftmasters (Fish Eye one is fine). Click on the upgrade tab, and there will be the infected blade BP for upgrade. Select it from there, and it will be yours permanently.
U can get Infected blades from the ShenXiu throwing knife pack or by finishing some board missions that have infected blades as an award (I forgot which ones tho)

how the f are you even supposed to use upgraded (maximum mines and/or grenades, doing the anamolies quest and needing go into the dark shop thingy and decided to use my 3 DIY grenades i got from an mission, well threw ONE in there while being fara awy OUTSIDE the stoe and ONE of the small grenades flew right out there in to me standing far away and killed me with full HP and i have 420 or so same thing with mines

Use them at a distance, the max level explosives have a lot of range. I’ve blown myself a few times on accident. With the DIY grenades you can hold down the throw button and you’ll see the Radius in which it’ll explode but that doesn’t include the tiny explosives that come after it.

Just gotta be mindful when using them

Tank usually provides high gear value. Gloves and other pieces yield higher points naturally which not only affects physical damage but also to some degree explosive and environmental damage. Depending if you have godroll affix stats it’s S-tier

how do you reach the hatched cave for the anamolies quest? cause i followed the beacon but the whole area is txic and the video i found just says "follow the blue beacons" and then cuts to them being on top of the hatched, like thanks for nothhing bro, also any way to wear the googles all the time? since its the only artifact armor piece i havbe and all my armor is 4 levels behind cause not one trader i find has better xD i got 70k cash but cant use it, also any othere artifact/legendary armopr that scales to your level?

the mines yeah but the grenades? like you can only throw them a certain distance and even THEN I DIE or at least an high chance xD

alos what things are good to level/upgrade in terms of blueprints? i got the boomstick pistol that costs 100 scrap and bandages at level max, and nothing else except UV bars at 6 or so despite that i never sued them really xD

I fully upgrade everything even the stuff I don’t use, but I mainly use grapple, throwing knives, DIY grenades and UV bars. But upgrade what fits your playstyle best

havent unlocked the grapple yet as i do all/most side quests so im heavily overleveld because i dont like it when some quests just magically dissapear becasue you advanced too far in the MQ wich is terrible in that game tbh cause some sidequests have the level 4 but if you did theMQ mission which as the level 3 before it wents away, im level 8 and im at broadcast quest, must say because of that the MQ is way to reasy but i cant do it different

I never use explosives. I dunno why but they’re very lethal. Ever since I started DL2 with my friend she likes to use explosives and it always downs her to the point she just ends up stops using them all together. Good times

any reliable way to get to guns so different kinds and not just the pistol cause for the intended which are jai boards mission many of them are just balanced for coop and not solo and i doubt you find random ones in a lobby if that game actually has that, and even then it seems like a grind and as SOLO? yeah absolutely not, cause if thats the only way... what a bad mechanic to hide weapons behind coop and/or pure boring grinding, i have sooo much ammo like 4 stacks of rifle and shotgun and i want to try it ffs without needing coop and/or insaely hard missions doing over and over again

Guns weren’t in the game when it launched they were added in later because people complained. That’s also why the guns feel lackluster and hardly anyone uses them. Jai’s mission are best done co op because there’s multiple objectives they are scaled for solo I do them all the time.

The guns in DL2 are cool to try out but overall they’re pretty mid. The best guns are the silenced pistol from tower raid and the silenced rifle from the bundle.

Enemies don’t have guns nor do they react to them so using them isn’t all that it was cracked up to be

They’re good for when your too lazy to fight the renegades otherwise I don’t touch them

yeah just read it but honestly doesnt make it better athe samething about how nights were made way more difficult/deadlier since it seems like they didnt balance night related quests for that change like the BAB IV were every video/tip shows them running around (without a grapple often) getting to chase 2-3 at a bridge area (so no big parkour/paraglider escape ) and then easily survive and trap the virals there, thats simpy not possible anymore same with the online pressence of palyers aka finding coop

Ahhh. Sometimes ladders astray when just trying to grab them is a hit or miss generally. Especially when going down from too. I would improvise when you can when navigating certain ladders lol

Guns were an afterthought. In the E3 version of the game they existed. But Techland doubled down on the dark ages theme. Guns can only be aquired by Ubisoft-ish grind which I don’t like particularly. Or by other means (micro transactions) They aren’t bad but meeeeeh

Ammo is legit everywhere in convoys in high quantities too. Making it quite funny but usable

i feel like these dark thingys (the shops) are Way to easy XP/Loot farms with their volatiles as they are at the access area and you cna just throw molotoc/grenades in there and easily kill them all xD

but I also NEVER loot them if not quest related xD i mean scrap and other ressources are sooo plentiful i got like 15k scrap, 100 wires, leather etc

the scaling/strength you get in mid game seem way to crazy IMO or is too much
