Welp theres always next year I guess lol. This will be my first real Christmas event this year so hopefully its good. I had the game since Jan 2023 but only touched it for 8hrs on PC before I picked it up on console to end up sinking 600hrs in it and I think I ended up just missing the events or was heavy into another game. UIlta already hit the goal of 15 mil that it needed, if salty hits 10mil we get his charm, now if both salty AND ultra hit 15mil each we get the dark lord charm which seems really unlikely with the pacing and balance of the candys sadly since its tower raid...

and people don't see in the game what they'd see on the site and socials so they for sure are just donating to ultra because they'd assume the side that wins is the rewards they'll get lol

Well the event ends in 10hrs and hes like 200k almost 100ish away from his own charm lol but ultra is like 400k over its own goal of 15mil so people don't even know to stop donating to ultra

you only need like 10 candy for each one to get their weapon if the goal is met (which they have) but some are no doubt still doing ultra which is now pointless and a waste of candy that could've gone to salty like 400k worth

I understand your intention to push reluctant or new players towards the Raid, but you should have opened the floodgates to Villedor on Sunday. At this hour, American players are asleep, and the others are working.

Doesn't help that in game there isn't really a notice or know how that ultra only needs 15mil and people donate past it while salty is just about to hit 10mil it would've hrs ago if ultra didn't have 15,500,000 lol so we'll get his charm but not the dark lord charm since tower raid drops only 1 per regular infected vs week 1 where they dropped more. It wouldn't be so bad if they did drop more then 1 tbh.

Some people if they purely pick one side (at least it happened to me) sees themselfs not get both rewards and in the instance of people who don't look at every single news or use socials won't ever really know that salty also needed 15mil besides ultra to get the dark lord charm

I may be beating it with a dead horse as I've seen this feedback since week 2 that the balance wasn't the best and the clarity in details also not the best when it comes to obtaining things (especially week 3 and now this)

yeah people don't like the grind or time it takes and I get it, I enjoy it from time to time since I have all the jai points you can get to build a character and most blueprints upgraded. It just didn't help that they regular Halloween infected dropped 1 candy vs week 1 they dropped more. They expected both characters this last week to hit 15mil so that the darklord charm would be gotten but we just hit 15mil for ultra to get his and 10m barely for salty charm and we needed 15mil for both to even get the extra charm out of pitty. They just really overestimated players and understimate the balance of tower raid.

plus in game they don't tell you how the extended week works or that donating 45mil to each would get you all the rewards for week 1

week 1 plague barely hit 45mil and scare had 100mil because they don't cap the characters after they hit a goal and people just assume the winning side is the rewards they'll get because I know more don't use social media for this game then they do which was another problem so clarity and balance for week 2/3/extended was a problem they should better in the future. Salty barely hit 10mil while ultra hit like 15mil 400k so we almost didn't get it because people wouldn't stop donating to ultra after they did already

PKs carry bullets when infected, some virals and helmeted biters. They have no guns. All the bullets and somehow Jai holds them all to distribute to the right people but I personally feel its not the last and only storage area where they all were. So mine as wel give PKs guns, NPCs and some renegades

I have to suspend my disbelief for the fun of guns for what they did lol I love the guns but I know deep down they walked it back and gameplay fun matters more in this game since they didn't stick to the vision.

Yeah Jai grind is ass and needs to be half'd alongside the tower raid xp requirement for any guns in there as well. I would've liked treasure maps like the beast to find rare guns. I did the OG Jai grind and it sucked because the missions were drip fed so I could only get the guns on xbox and couldn't do that time trick that PC/PS do

DL1 volatiles became super easy for me to kill, just one headshot with a bow and that's it. Though, I'm on normal difficulty in NG+. I meant they're very annoying and have attack animations and patterns that makes them menacing, but not fun to fight

Depends if you have the money or not. We just got NG+ and 300 Legend levels. Good reward pass. 26 legend skills and soon nightmare sometime before Jan 7th with a hunger mechanic. And I guess alien isolation ish AI for volatiles. It’s a good time now for sure. But I can’t promise Techland will do a sale again with those times I said. I guess we’ll see. Either way still the DL2 Christmas event 🤌🏻

I did at first for bounties to finish quickly. Once they’re done the XP to level up is so slow. So I stuck to hard on elite and run a tanky scrap jaw setup. Now I heard people can waste all their lives at the end after beating the main boss and get more xp. I was curious because I seen people do it during Halloween at the end lol

Frost bounties on virals are the worst one. Easily skippable. I have to put it on nightmare on quick play or they die too easy. Now for electric an electric tip to put on your weapon works great and can also just switch perks to make ranger shoot electric effect on stuff. Most of the bounties I farm in the lobby and then just restart over and over.

Besides coins and roof I do the ones I can do in the lobby first 😅
