After the events of DL1, GRE makes the very intelligent decision of further experimenting on the virus and one of these experiments is (without permission by the looks of it) done by Waltz who pretty much kidnaps random children with Aiden being one of them and escaping those experiments.

Hi guys. I'm new to DL2. I just got a couple of questions.

1. I am planning to buy the Anubis bundle mainly for the crossbow. At the same time, I want to align with the Survivors for my first playthrough. Will I be able to get some bolt blueprints without aligning with the Peacekeepers? If yes, at what point in the game will I be able to find these blueprints and use the crossbow from the said bundle?

2. I've already played DL1 and The Beast in the past few weeks. Previously, I saw on the Pilgrim Outpost that you could get the Crane Bundle for free when you connect your DL1 & DL2 games to the website. Now that I'm playing DL2, I couldn't find that post anymore. Did it expire already?

3. Looking at the missable side quests list, there are these faction quests that, in order to activate them, you will need to assign certain water towers or electrical stations to one faction and activate the windmills near them. My question is, will I be locked out of these faction quests if I activate the windmills first? My initial plan was to activate all windmills first, including those on the neutral grounds.

Gameplay wise I enjoy the beast more, just combat and Parkour, content wise DL2 has more of that than DL1 and the beast combined

And this is a hot take, but I actually quite enjoy DL2's story, even if the lack of any meaningful player choice is very apparent

The beast has nothing in particular that really incentivizes night gameplay, DL2 if you got high enough level and gear you could clear dark zones out of the 2 to 4 volatiles that patrol in them no problem, but you had to work for it.

I think I somewhat understand why they didn't since volatiles are much, much stronger in the beast than 2 or even 1, but that should incentivize night gameplay even more

Do bloody Ties. Go to the statue outside in the area with Demolishers. Grab the poster. Outside your safe room, a door will open partway in the story. Go there and do the Bozak Horde challenge. Grab three military med kits, die, repeat.

Or learn the glitch to get under the map and you can get all 8 military med kits.

items that can be redeemed are there for every save, extra items that you got on a previous game wont save. if I got the Kyle crane skin from the outpost, it'll be there for every save, if I got a skin from Harper or jai, it wont save. thats how it works
