During the "Welcome aboard" mission. But don't waste Military tech on UV flashlight upgrades. Leave it for the last Nightrunner tool to be upgraded. Because of a Military tech glitch.
U can get 14 military tech per playthrough -legit way, and if u upgrade UV flashlight last, then those 14 military tech will be enough to max out all nightrunner tools (glider, grappling hook and UV flashlight).
And if u max upgrade UV flashlight b4 the glider or grappling hook, then u will be short of 1 military tech that u gonna need to get during NG+ or buy asking someone to drop it for u in CO-OP

i read that siding with survivors or pk determines who controls the city and the city changes, but on my map all districts and faction structures remained the same

Nope, U determine only district perks by giving control to PK or survivors. U can still get Survivors ending if all 7 districts are controlled by PK and vice versa

Yeah. The only thing that matters post-game is what district perks u have. For example: crucial district perk for farming legend points in Nightmare mode is Survivor Respawn which u can use every 5 minutes, and it saves u legend points in case of death

So basically the ONLY decision that matters is if you open the dam or not

Depending on Hakon's well-being and who do u side with (Frank, Juan, Matt) at certain story points, u'll get a different main story and some side missions. Also, most of the district-side missions depend on who controls that district. If PK controls it, the quest givers in settlements will be PK who give their own side missions, and the same goes for survivors

Basically, u need 1 playthrough and 2 NG+ to do all the missions in the game and get all of the blueprints

I know the sunken city is sunken. What they were saying was that if he opened the dam, all that water full of chemicals (that keeps the sunken city sunken) would flood villedor. But that never happens and its never mentioned again. Thats why there was a stalemate and no one took out the renegades. They were threatening to flood the city

Well I can now see why dying light 2 was abandoned now. Pretty much little to no content was added since launch besides dumb ass skins. Frame gen is completely busted and just crashes on an nvidia 5000 series card and night time roaming is cursed with the amount of volatiles roaming around making night time activities such a chore to do

Am I missing something or are certain quests on Nightmare impossible to actually complete? I am currently trying to do a quest that has me needing to enter a store at night, and there are always at least 4 volatiles loitering around the entrance. the only difference between your game and ng+ is in ng+ everything and everywhere is lv9 from beginning/assuming you are past lv9 with your character when starting ng+/
