Losing stamina doesn't entirely ruin that experience. You're anyway gonna lose that part of the game when the beast drops in 3 weeks, DL2 is still unique for what it has at the moment, doesn't really change the outcome

The change in the stamina system in DL2 fundamentally changes the game completely. Windmills, Military Airdrops, Military Towers & General exploration are all pretty much useless now. Get what your saying but in this case I think your wrong. For me and clearly other players, the stamina change wasn't needed or wanted and if it really was necessary, why not add a toggle button to switch between both. Keeps everyone happy 😂

Military airdrops arent exactly useless still in that regard, you're still tasked to find them for HP build up , either way general exploration stays the same, I don't see how that in any shape or form would change. Stamina doesn't change that factor. Windmills were always an alternative side activity the player could do, that's separate from the main core gameplay. Parkour stamina being removed only makes traversal in the end easier which for most new players helps them out more given how most never even go for 100% on inhibitors. Combat stamina still is the same.

The gear was so op you can literally do a numerous amount of moves and stamina regen would save you 99% of the time

So idk, its all preference at the end of the day. We got used too it, as someone who put around 2k hours into this game, I don't really see it as a false thing unless ur super into immersion and side activities

All they really did was work back into how DL1's system was, combat and parkour stamina are all separate in this manner

I think the stamina system was unique but honestly It was expected to be removed anyway after DLTB had formatted back to DL1's formula, I don't really see it as a negative because it just means new players don't suffer but even then, its just a very late change

Dl2 was designed around the stamina system. To gatekeep in a sense... Windmills, Airdrops & Antennas worked like parkour puzzles, you had to progress in-game first to even reach them in the first place and when you do get there, climbing them added a slight bit of tension, hanging there waiting for the right time to jump watching your stamina slowly deplete was a incredible experience. Likewise for exploration, climbing up a massive skyscraper watching the stamina, working out the way to get to the top again was a core experience, the game was literally designed around this.
Now as it stands, once you skip the prologue you can literally climb anything and go anywhere including climbing the VNC Tower 😂
In that respect the stamina change fundamentally changes the experience and game. For better or worse lol.

During the first month two of my save files got corrupted, was stuck in a death loop in one save file so that was unplayable until it was patched. Co-Op didn't worked. Game crashed every couple of hours....

My favourite glitch/bug was everytime someone joined you or you joined them, after you left the Co-Op session your game world would transform into theirs 🤣

they are very easy to dodge. their medium-high swings and be ducked, but the low swings cannot be ducked. the leg stomp can be jumped over as well. air kick, drop kick, and the dash-charge skill can stun them, but there's a little cool down for them to be stunned again. throwing zombies into them can stun them as well

I genuinely have enjoyed dl2 (i only got it recently) and im ab 70 hours in, besides the coop issues which have now been fixed (i only am playing with my friend), the game is like a solid 7.5/10. The gameplay outweighs the story, story is a bit lackluster but you cant expect every story game to hit the highs of rdr2 or cyberpunk

Yeah, I loved being able to get analog movement through a joystick and mouse for camera. Best of both worlds. Dying Light 2 not supporting mixed input makes it feel like a downgraded from Dying Light 1 after the wonderful input support the first has. Now it's either live with WASD movement or get analog movement but settle for joystick camera.

Another thing that wasn't great was changes to sprint not having a dedicated sprint hold button and instead opting for the auto sprint or toggle made it feel like a downgrade when it comes to how much control players have over movement speed too. Combining everything from Sprinting (Dart, Dash and Afterboost) to one key is something I don't get either.

Yeah but then isn't it just toggle so even if you lift off the sprint button you still sprint unless you stop moving. Dying Light 1 had hold to sprint so if you stopped holding the sprint button you go back to regular movement speed.

If they just want to make nightmare harder, make the paraglider stamina go down just as fast during the day. It makes no sense for it to go down twice as fast at night as in the day.
