they might have bugged the collisions when the update car models a couple months back but if you manage to loot them they give you an uncommon valuable called "accumulators" im pretty sure. strange thing is you can only have a limit of i think 10-15 of them in your inventory at once

A lot of times when you would throw a melee weapon, it would not be retrievable or be under the ground, so people had to resort to using blue Rarity or junk weapons that enemies would drop for throwing instead of actually using good weapons

I always enjoyed throwing my melee weapons as a substitute for guns, you get the damage output of guns but better, plus silent combat which isn't normally available in Dying Light games or most any zombie game, which is a big turn off for guns in my opinion, I love using silencers on guns so no one can hear it

The combat in DL2 always feels funny to me. Like it has less impact than DL1. Using a bow and getting headshots feels even weird. Taking a goon down in DL1 with a maxed bow always felt satisfying. Hopefully the beast returns to form.

Grind some pilgrim chests and one of them will surely have a knife. They're pretty common in those chests.

The ones you haven't done don't give you any pilgrim chests. You have to go to one you have already defeated and there should be a poster saying aboration or something like that and you can enter the challenge and defeat the anomaly again.

But that's an end-game activity because every enemy in that challenge is ramped up to the highest level

Best option is Jai's missions on Elite mode.

If it's too hard just put your difficulty to easy mode.

IALR and E3 definitive. These two mods are provide change ur game experience as an opportunity. Especially IALR has less bugs, get fixes regularly and gives an completly different overhauled version of the game. E3 definitive is amazing as hell ,but it's still in the beta testing and needs more update for bug fixes. Althougt the issues there is no equivalent of it. So u could try this too. Instead of these mods, there are still 2 different mods on the way but not released. Still on the developing process and I'm sure they will be great as hell like 2 of them which I mentioned at the beginning.

Cuz i've been trying to make him laugh or something while I cut and start again a parkour race to see if he laughs

This situation goes the same for when he parries an enemy, nothing, not even a laugh, just the standard grunt :V
