U can get the First Pilgrim crossbow from the Pilgrim Outpost Armoury. It is an automatic crossbow with impact bolts efect on normal bolts for close enemies. It runs way better than DL1 on my Acer Nitro 5 Laptop. Constant 60 FPS on high -mid settings. Fluid movement and responsiveness instant + it looks fantastic (Gritty colour grading + nightmare)

coz nightmare mode adds additional darkness to the nights. Adding Gritty colour grading to it, gives an extra horror ambience and even darker nights

Most likely, u passed a certain story point after which those side quests are unavailable. Some Side-Missions in this game depend on the main story juncture, activities (camps and metro stations) u unlocked, and some side missions even depend on who controls Villedor districts.
So my advice is to do side missions as soon as they appear. Also,
claiming the Downtown Thusgh camp b4 u start the "To kill or not to Kill" side mission will make that mission unavailable. The same goes for Heron Renegados camp and "Could you repeat" side mission, and Newalls Metro Station (fish eye) and the "Rats in the house" side-mission

Have you played dl1 at all? If so you know what the nights are like and the atmosphere of it all. That's what people truly loved and dl2 on release didn't come close to it. The main component was missing from the sequel of one of the best zombie games of all time.

question about assigning zones
how does progression in both factions' perks work? do you have to level them from scratch, or do you get say tier 2 reward options when assigning the second zone regardless who you sided with first?

in other words, if you've assigned survivors seven times and the next is peace keepers: do you get access to all of the peace keepers' perks to choose from or only the first?

ah right. looks like you level each faction independantly

and while ziplines are great they're only where the survivors control, so if one plans to side a bunch with pk that becomes less useful

yeah splitting them isn't really ideal because i think theres an achievement tied for getting one faction maxed all the way

strongest weapons even with 2x-3x dmg from armor and legend levels still require mad effort to kill volatiles if theyre like level 9 and on nightmare lol
if he has maxed out regular gear and hes joining on you and youre not NG+ and the volatiles are like 3-6 and he's lvl 9 he'll also 1-2 shot them

i mean, you can do the sola token bug. you can buy like 10+ gear, look at their stats, if its not good. close game in task manager. open game again and tokens will be refunded. repeat. (didnt hear it from me, i heard it from someone else )
