That’s a good point and something they should’ve sorted really from last year. If you ‘sell all’ valuables at a vendor it gets rid of toppers and decorations you have on you. Maybe ok after you’ve finished and got everything as it’ll get you good money. bit a pain if you didn’t know before hand!

I recently tried out the first person mod for elden ring, and after playing enough to beat the first boss, it really gave me a newfound respect for the amount of work that goes into making a first person melee combat system work well

It really shows how particular your animations have to be in order to telegraph your movements enough to make it visually understandable

And shows how limited the possibilities are when it comes to the look and style of the animations themselves. Like the amount of visual expression of the amount of kinetic force being imparted by the player. In third person it's quite easy to show so that the difference between a light hit and a heavy hit and you can really go ham on how extreme it is, first person however, the faster your attack the less visible it's actually gonna be on screen due to the perspective.

Not to mention how to handle things like getting hit,stunned ect.
