Everything except Unarmed, Throwing, Health Regeneration & Healing Efficiency are all at max level 25, so unless Unarmed or Throwing have hidden benefits to weapon creation that I'm unaware of, I don't think there's anything that further legend levels can do to help me make stronger gear.

Well, outside of running more Prison or trying Bozak for a chance at more golden picks, I'm not sure what kinds of weapons I should be looking for in the first place.😅
Heck, I'm not even sure what gold weapons are possible on each, if there's any difference between the possible random Bozak & Prison weapons you can get at all.

As long as it's a gold weapon then it should be strong regardless, if i'm not wrong i got a scythe from the event quest, it was like 14k damage or something like that

The gold weapon I got from that was a Fabulous Iron Hatchet, and it only had 2877 damage, WAY short of 14 THOUSAND.

Unless they roll the events on the Switch version or a way to get the blueprints without Pilgrim Outpost, the most reliable option might be the DLCs

At least for bow you can try getting Corrupted Justice, in damage that's equal to Dragon's Breath and ADS makes the arrows piercing

Well, they are doing the anniversary events on Switch, like I said, but yeah the Outpost is a no-go since the website doesn't even list the Switch as a platform.😅
It's one of the big reasons why I haven't bothered with Dying Light 2 on Switch; even if I was willing to put up with a Cloud version [which I'm not; download or physical are always better], what's the point if a lot of great gear is beyond my reach because of the dumb website?

Yeah, then I'm fairly sure I haven't. I'm not even sure what those events you're referencing are; the Switch version comes with all available dlc up to the game's end of content updates.[10-in-12, Rust weapons pack, etc etc]
Beyond that & the occasional event like Super Crane, I don't think Switch has ever gotten anything special. Certainly not blueprint-giving events.

I'm not sure if this method can be combined with the armory timer glitch, though; afaik doing this to get dirwctly into the armory room will result in all the boxes being empty. You need to activate the timer to make loot spawn afaik, so you'd need to hookshot up into the area of the door leading into the armory. I'll need to try it later.

After getting to the end in whatever way works to activate the timer, just unlock & open every chest, run into the final room, unbolt the door but do not open it, then kill yourself with a grenade; it'll put you outside of the armory with no timer so you can grab all your loot freely.

I think you can combine the first vid with the second, but you need to know where to hookshot up to get the timer to start.
That or you might actually have to enter the prison a little bit first to get the timer running before doubling back to start glitching through the walls.

Again, it's something I'm gonna be testing later.

Either way, the boxes are empty if you go into the room without activating the final countdown at the armory door, iirc, so lots of testing to do.

You should play through the game at leadt once, then. Do all the side quests; you'll get it naturally after meeting Dahlia & doing hers.

Oh! Well then, you can just use the chapter select to skip to around the time just before you go to old town, then, or a little before that.
She shows up at night in a certain part of town; use your map to locate her.

And yeah, she has multiple quests for you; it's her final one that's useful. The rest are basically joke potions.

Nope; just select "play" from the main menu, instead of "continue", then "play campaign", then hit whatever button for "Advanced", and it'll pull up a menu that not only lets you restart from any quest in the game, but will also let you select/change your difficulty at any time.

That's odd; are you playing on a new higher difficulty? It might not let you skip ahead if you haven't cleared a higher difficulty at least once.

In any case, try starting up the game on a lower difficulty, backing out to the menu, then see if it lets you change the restart option beyond the Siblings quest.
If not then maybe just try blitzing through the game once entirely on Normal to see if that fixes things?

Complete it & the guy will have a menu you can select to restore all of your repairs on all of your weapons.

Also, I'm not sure an orange Sacrificial Short Sword exists; purple is the closest I've ever found too.
There's a gold one called Sword of Order, iirc, that you can get in Prison & Bozak, though.

Sheilds are more or less useless. You can't run with them, durability is eh and not worth using an equipment slot.

If you want to absorb more damage from bullets, use Resistance Boosters, or Night Hunter boosters instead.
