Higher ng+ gives more xp.
Also you can switch difficult to nightmare before ending mission. For me, ng+ 3,i get 70.000 xp for a story mission on difficult story, a bit other 80.000 on nightmare

dl2s minimum specs were a 560 4 gb or a vega 56 8gb for 30 or 60 fps. the reason you get more frames on dl2 is because older games aren't as demanding. this game, however, is more demanding, therefore older hardware wont be as amazing, especially on a laptop.

think thats a hardware issue and not an optimization issue on your part.

At which point in the main story did you switch off of Nightmare? There are 3 different "difficulties" in the main story completely independent of actual ingame difficulty, where enemies become tankier as you progress. Early game Nightmare enemies can have less health than late game Brutal enemies

One recent feature techland did is they made it so when you start a new NG+ cycle, the game automatically scales to your current level when you made the switch

It seems like this scaling change they've done only applies at the very start of the NG+ cycle

so if you start at 180, they'll stay at 180. They'll still get minor health increases from this #💬︱the-beast message but will still be much easier as you level

I mean the DL1 parkour challenges feel faster because you literally get stacking speedboosts for just mantling ledges lmao, that's just how the challenge was designed since the devs couldn't real figure out how to make DL1's parkour feel faster. If you're properly using Afterboost, climbing ledges at the proper angle for the faster climb animations, properly utilizing Dash Jump's higher jump height and faster ledge climb animation, and playing with wallruns, then TB will feel smoother, faster and more rewarding because there's an actual skill ceiling and need to improve

I think it's gotta be the volatile. It's unique and has gone through a few iterations but my favourite is DLTB's version. Second favourite is Banshee and again, I prefer DLTB's design. DL2's designs are a bit hit and miss. I'm not a fan of the glowy yellow growths on them but I understand why they're present.

If you sleep to force night and the bed is too close to the hive, it won't spawn until you get some more distance from it. Just leave the villa area while it's still night and come back before the sun rises.

Hives in general also aren't a 100% chance to spawn. If the icon isn't blue, just come back later that night

I think ice pick/1h axe now has the best overall feel in the game. Strong moveset and stats since they're 1h, all of the great looking 1h finishers besides the throat stab one that machetes got with the Nightmare update, and now katana's best looking finishers

I hope they balance co op soon, surprised it’s taken them so long. It makes co op basically unplayable once you level up and join someone who’s much lower level. Luckily I have lower level weapons to use when joining people but they’ll eventually run out and even then since I’m so strong using low level weapons I’m still over powering enemies making me dominate their games which is not what I’m trying to do.
