DL1 slide kick locked you in a 3 second animation to break 1 zombie's leg. DLTB slide has better and smoother hitboxes, can knock down 3+ biters in one slide, can turn corpses into projectiles to stumble entire hordes of zombies, and offers tons more combat mobility since it can chain into slide jump.

DL1 camoflauge was absolutely a straight up cheat, people camo'd and then went through entire hordes slowly breaking necks instead of engaging with any of the game's combat systems

DL1 and 2 had way stronger enemies at high legend levels, DL1 nightmare NG+ is a genuine challenge for endgame players and I had hoped TB would match that feeling

This grappling hook is the worst I've ever seen. It's useless for climbing, useless for getting to places quickly, and unlike the grappling hook in DL1 which allowed you to quickly reach the top of buildings, it's only good for hanging around.

It's just another hook to keep swinging on.

Nah, I think DL2 is better than 1. Gameplay atleast. DL1 had a great story but is so clunky I can't replay it without feeling super limited. Imo DL2 is still my favorite in the series.

The aplha can spawn from the vents/trapdoors/idk-bad-English inside dark zones, yes, there is also normal volatiles, so still get out quickly

You can only carry so much on you and your stash until you upgrade your backpack so the idea is using everything you can, scrap everything you dont need, gather things and plan what you want to keep and upgrade
